Well, for me, it doesn't really matter as long as the content made sense and contributed to the topic. and most importantly, it answered my question and helped out.

Hello Tuyakiki It doesnt matter much according to me.Post should be interesting for reader.I have see few short replies here which made me laugh. Some big replies were tad boring.I did not read complete post.I left it there only.SO according to me it depends upon content rather than length.

Well, just as the same with discussions that most people ever start in here, I prefer responding back to longer and reading longer ones as well. When it comes to trying to help someone, or want them to help you I feel the most response someone gives back the more I can get to know them, and want to respond. When responding back a lot of times it does depend on my mood, and the type of discussion it is, but I stick to at least 4 lines at shortest just to try and help my earnings in here some as well.

Compare to them, I prefer to read the short posts much more. As I am impatient to read long posts. The short and brief posts which can have points will be alright. After all, this is not a place to write down an article. I love China

Longs posts means descriptive posts which the Mylot administrators wants from us.It must be to the point, and relevant in regard to the discussion. It doesn't always means an article. Thanks for posting.

I want to read a long post, and i am jealous to the people who do long post that are related in discussion, because me i just write 2-3 sentences, if the discussion are not interesting and no word comes on my mind, i also post a long as a half paragraph or just one paragraph, if i had much idea on my mind, and the discussion are easy to answer.

I prefer long responses, but just long enough to effectively put through the point. Very long responses tend to veer away from what needs to be said. The gist is what matters most.

Hi Kiki! My answer is very simple and it matches your opinion. I always love to read long and meaningful responses, in comparison to short, curt and one liners. Descriptive responses tell a lot about the respondent's state of mind and whether s/he enjoyed the discussion or not. It appears to me that those who write very brief responses are not very much interested in the discussion(s) and they just go about it for the sake of 'responding'. I also avoid writing very brief responses, untill the discussion is not of my interest or I am hard pressed for time but I want to post something. I always try to respond to the core issue of the discussion with some meaningful quotes.

I am not patient enough to read very long posts. At the same time very short posts will disappoint me. I would like to read medium long posts. I don't mind reading very long posts if I am intersted in the topic, otherwise it will be boring. Sometimes people will write too many things which are not relevant to the topic to make long posts.

"Long responses earns you much bucks over here in comparison to the short posts" Oh I didn't know that, is it really true? I thought it doens't matter hopw long or short you post, earnings will be still given out as long as you do posting. I like to write whatever ideas in my mind, it could be long or short, try to wriute as much as I could on the topics. Sometimes a short one can just ocnclude good to the topic :-)

Your posts should be descriptive ones..I think, that means minimum 6 to 8 sentences/line and not consist and not one word or two to three sentences....Thats the mylot rule..Such a post will earn you 1 cent! Others will only raise your post numbers, but it won't help in earning. Thanks for participation.... Keep posting.

Well, to be frank i don't like the one liners or monosyllable answers. I like it when my responders write a few lines (say 3-4). I don't mind reading a 6-8 liner message too. But i see that there are a few members who write really BIG comments and i lose interest to go through the whole post. I think the discussion also matters :)

Yeah, tuyakiki. I am very much the same in the sense i also love the responses that are descriptive and contain useful content. Many times, mylotters respond just to increase their posts, that does not add anything to the discussion. Happy Mylotting!!

Hi, tuyakiki, when you keep things short it is really very interesting. At the same time when there are more matters to convey , you can go for long posts and log responses too. This is my experience in Mylot.

If a person can express his/her opinion in a couple of sentences it is fine with me.Anything other than a couple of words is alright for me. Well, a really long post can be a touch boring but if it is intersting then why not?? But most of all there should atleast be a response.I am not getting any of late.

to me, it depends. but most of the time, i give not very short lines. cause i only will respond the discussions that i think i'll have sth to share or sth to comment on. but i do accept others' short responds. cause i believe the quality is the most important, not only the quantity. hehe...

I prefer to make it straight to the point. I'm not really the type to linger around in mindless conversation (or posting). So yeah, short is better IMO.
