I am a non-vegetarian and I love to eat chicken and egg. My family likes fish mostly but I prefer chicken or egg anytime. Though I love sea fish, but in my family mostly lake fish is bought and cooked, so I get very less chances of having my favorite fish cooked.
I can't imagine my life without non-veg items, I really enjoy them.
But vegetarians will be against my thought, because they don't like to eat non-veg food at all.
So, what is your favorite food item, whether you are vegetarian or non-veg? Open your heart and speak out the food which gets you mouth watering!!

Hi pupupd!
You see both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food have its own advantages and disadvatanges. Our bodies are most suited to vegetarian diet and we can digest the same more easily. However, some of the minerals and vitamins and essential elements for our bodies are only found in non-vegetarian food, therefore, who take non-vegetarian food have slight edge than the vegetarians. I prefer both and besides chicken, eggs and fish I love to have all green vegetables and coloured vegetables, so that my body could get all kinds of nourishment.

Hi pup!
I completely agree with you that a balanced diet is must for all of us along with physical activities and exercise. If we remain dormant and do not make much physical activity, even good food cannot help us build up an infallible immune system. You are right that those who cannot relish non-vegetarian food can rely on eggs, this way they will be able to make shortfall of their nutrients.

Its good to know to that you prefer both kinds of diet. That is actually a balanced diet which most of them fail to have. It is very important to have all kinds of foods both vegetables and also meat. If some don't like the taste of meat then they can at least have the egg which has all the required proteins. Daily intake of non-veg food is not necessary, but one must take other supplements of proteins instead, as daily intake of some amount of protein is necessary of course along with proper exercise. Just consuming all the nutrients in right amount will also not help.

I became vegetarian at four years old and now I am vegan. My favorite meal is a salad with red cabbage, carrot and lettuce with pine nuts on top of it. I love to eat strawberries and raspberries. I like to drink grapefruit juice. I can't imagine eating non-vegan food.

Yes you are absolutely right. Eating vegetables and fruits on daily really increases your immune power as well, increases digestion power, also the anti-oxidants present in them is very useful for healthy body. I eat 2-3 fruits daily which includes orange, apple, pear, papaya. I also have salads like tomato, cucumber etc.

I cant say that I am a non vegetarian. I love to eat non vegetarian foods like chicken, Mutton, egg and fish . Equally I love to eat the vegetarian foods. For me it is not compulsory that I should get a particular food.As you said I dont like to eat the lake fish. In my family also, nobody likes the lake fish. We all have sea fish only. I can not understand why one should hate veg or non veg . If they like the non veg , they can have it and other wise they can avoid it. For me any fried fish is mouth watering

Oh you are very flexible towards food. I am too, I only love to eat it when my mom makes it, can't resist, since my diet doesn't allow it daily, I say that I can't live without it when my mother makes it at home.
We have fish cooked in our house for about 3-4 times a week and once chicken on sundays, so you can imagine how painful it is for me who is crazy about chicken

I am a non-vegetarian. I enjoy a good piece of meat, chicken & fish, but I have increased the amount of veggies and fruits in my diet. The meat that I buy for my family are those that live the way nature intended. By this I mean, they eat the diet that is natural to them, they don't receive antibiotics and steroids, they are out in the fresh air, roaming around. The fish we buy are not from fisheries, where they often don't eat a natural diet.
We try to eat organically grown veggies and fruits, and we have found they have more flavor than the "commercially grown" produce, so we've started eating many more with our meals and we have found that we have more vegetarian meals than ever before...but we still enjoy eat fish poultry and beef (but rarely any pork)

A non-vegetarian. I cannot imagine a diet without meat to be honest. I can probably give up beef and pork, and I don't much like fish, but I can't live without chicken and eggs! Actually when I was younger I was sort of carnivorous, with the exception of rice, tofu, and potatoes, all I would eat is meat. I hated vegetables and didn't like most fruits. However, now I am happy to say that I like more fruits and have been incorporating more vegetables in my diet. I also eat less red meat nowadays. Also, once a week, we would have a vegetarian dinner. It's mostly because my dad's diet is very strict, and so to make it easier for him, we also adjusted our diets. It's good because now I eat healthier and am slowly developing a taste for vegetables. I also made good on my promise this year not to eat too much chicken skin. Before when we had roast chicken, I would eat the skin on my portion and everyone else's that don't want their chicken skin. Now I only eat my own portion, so it's an improvement!

Thanks for the response.
You seem to be a great non-veg eater. You just can't give up non-veg by any chance, right? Its not bad at all, but consuming only non-veg and leaving out vegetables is not good. Its nice that you have improved in these terms and have included vegetables in your diet as well.
Have a nice healthy life!

Yes one must be adjustable in nature and not just stick to one kind of diet. This is not at all good for one's health and body. Are you an Indian and are you a Bengali by any chance? I am asking Because I am a Bengali and of course Indian. Reply soon.
Have a nice healthy life

I am non-veg too and to say the least I love meat. I love the taste, savor of meat dishes and above all feel that I have really eaten something. My taste buds are very pleased with meat and my body can do with the energy that is contains.
Althought I also eat fish i have a particular liking for chicken and egg, roast chicken, cooked in sauce or broiled chicken is fine by me. I love eggs too - especially scrambled eggs.
There is no better nourishment, in my opinion, than eggs and meat. I can cope for the day quite well having had a good breakfast - not too heavy - but just enough to fill my stomach and stock the energy that I need to burn to get through the day.

I love to eat anything provided it is well cooked. I donĀ“t like fast food and things like that. Otherwise, I eat everything. I love veggies, but I also like all kinds of meats from land, sea or sky

I can never be a vegetarian because I cannot live without meat.I love vegetables too but if there is no meat, I will rather not eat at all. Seafood is my favourite especially prawns and crabs, I just love them. No I cannot be a vegetarian and don't want to be one either.

Dear Pupupd,
I'm a hardcore non-vegetarian, but do at times feel like going veg. Though I like chicken and have it often, I do try to avoid it because of the problems it can cause to our body. Fish is safer, but it is seasonal and that is why I take more chicken.

I was a vegetarian for many years. I love vegetables, tofu, edamame, hummus, lentils and cous cous. I started eating meat again when I became pregnant with my daughter. My iron levels became dangerously low, and I was diagnosed as anemic. I don't really like chicken or fish, but I do now love beef. Whenever I eat a steak, it has to be rare. But, I don't eat alot of meat, only a few times a week. I love both vegetarian and non-veg foods, and enjoy incorporating both into my diet. This will sound horrible, but my favorite food is pizza, which can be veg or non-veg, and of course is an incredibly bad choice of food. Pizza is what makes my mouth water, but I try not to eat it but very occasionally.

I used to be a vegetarian after i found out about the abuse of animals in factory farms. Also they probably feed them full of chemicals. But after moving back in with my family i have to start eating meat again. As they think my diet of choice is rather unhealthy. i still don't like the taste of meat though. yuk!!!

I am not a vegetarian although I love vegies and fish too. I eat meat and love it. I like pork, beef and chicken meat. I am more into eating vegies and I only eat meat about twice or thrice a week. I just wish I could be a vegetarian but it's hard for me because meat is very delectable and mouth watering too. There are many delicious dish that can only be done with meat. And a dish is different if there's a meat added on it.
Anyway, my favorite dish is squid cooked in soy sauce.
