Yes everyone should have gotten this message, it is a warning to the people that have been tagging discussions the wrong way, and tagging with things that are not appropriate. hopefully this will take care of the problem.

I think that everyone got that message. And even before that, someone had started a discussion about abuse in placing tags in the discussions, and how to avoid having someone place poor tags in your discussions. I really hadn't noticed it, and I am not sure what good it would do to put these tags in someone else's discussion. I can however see where it may be helpful putting poor tags in your own. But if you are going to use that type of tags, then why not just have a discussion on whatever you are tagging it about instead of using fake tags.

I just read that since when ever I see an alert that's the first thing I check. And I must say they are right I have been seeing a lot of abuse latley with the tagging. So I guess they got fed up with it even though im going to try now to start tagging more to help out.

Normally, for my own discussions, I put on the whole tags with useful keywords, so that the tags that are shown are only mine. I think this is useful to avoid abuse of tag words. However, so far I've not had any experience of abused tags for my discussions. All friends so far are very nice towards me and I appreciate their awesome and cool participation..

yes, i also receive same message as you did. o not worry, this is just a bulk message from admin to all members, i believe. just keep posting and do the correct thing here. follow the rule, read the FAQ.

Yes, I have too have received the alert. I have never misuse the tagging but am worry if others indiscriminately put the wrong tagging in their response to my discussion. That will put me in hot soup.

This was sent as an alert so everyone in mylot recieved it. This comes from a problem we have had here lately. People have begun using the tags for attacking other users, insulting and demeaning them and harrasment. If you are not one who is doing this, than you have nothing to worry about. Something people need to remember here on Mylot is mods are EVERYWHERE, even if you don't see them. I found out a while ago after one of the admins hosted a question and answer thread last year, that mods are hidden, we don't know who they are, how many there are and when and where they are active.

This is an alert from Mylot, so I think everybody received such kind of notice today. I also put tags all the time. But now I am a little worried about it since who knows whether the tags I put are proper or not. Perhaps it is better to leave the tagging blank? I love China

I guess each member of mylot have received this information. It was sent as an alert. I usually tag my discussion but I always tag them accordingly. I do not know if admin found my tags inappropriate but I have not receive any warnings so far. So perhaps there is nothing wrong with the way I tag my post.

Oh alright, so I was not the only one to receive that alert. When I saw that, I was like I don't tag silly poor thing that don't related to the topics... what the the heck is going on?... then I realized they sent it to all the mylotters(I would asuume so). I only tag the right tag meaning I tag whatever that is related to the topic, no crap or anything like that.

I get the same message, I not very often active just take a time right here. As I remember last time I see some tag might be not contain with the discussion. With this kind I need some information to fill with true tags. Be sure we do the right things...

I recieved the message about tags too.I would fellow in Mylot team suggestion.I think it is work when i don't use tags.

oh good im very glad to hear that it was a system wide alert and not just me! usually i skip the tags but if i happen to notice beforehand it doesnt have many then i try to put in at least one. i honestly couldnt remember the last time i had entered a tag so i thought i was being given a warning. but not now thankyou! its for the stupid trolls that go around and decide they want to keep a stick up their bum and leave rude tags on other ppls discussions..because they are either jerks or decide that they dont agree with the person who started the discussion and therefore feel its their place (which it isnt) to ruin another persons opinion..as if that would actually change anything. all it does is show everybody else that the most vehement difference of opinion is usually an a$$hole on top of it. HAHAHA!

After reading the alert. I started to simplify my tags as I think I used to consume the ten words tags. I misunderstood the tags before, I used to tag the discussion according to it's highlights, Maybe this time I would tag my comments, in accordance to it's topic.

Yes, I get the same message. During this time I feel have filled tags that are relevant to the discussion topic or response. So I continue these attitudes. I think that message to those who fill the tags with the words that are not responsible.

Everyone got this message today after logging onto mylot, so there is no reason for you to worry. This is just a reminder from the admin to avoid abuse or wrong use of tags.

Yes, we did. it's a reminder that we should always use tags properly and make sure that tags can be easily search by the mylot member. i think the mylot prefer some as bad tags not only they are inappropriate but it's unsearchable by the member. we should always read the rules. have a great day
