I love children!!! The fact that they say exactly what is on their minds without hesitation amazes me. Have any of you ever seen the show "Kids say the darndest things"? It is hosted by Bill Cosby and the answers these kids give will have you laughing harder then ever.
Anyway.....my 8 year old nephew has begun Bible Study class and is enjoying it very much. So much that they other day his mom had him out and about and he was just about hyper ventilating because he was going to arrive late to class that day;)
So he comes home yesterday and sits at the table and says "Mom, Is Jesus' last name Christ"? "Cuz everywhere you see his name you see Christ right after it" --- I just about fell out the chair I thought is was soo cute.
It is true- Kids do say the darndest things!!! lol... please share you "kid comments"
Has any of your nieces and nephews or your children for that matter ever come out with a question or answer that just befuddles you???...LOL.
I had anoher incident where my girlfriend brought her 4 year old daughter in the office and she came in to get some candy from my candy dish- while she was there I started up a little conversation by asking her how old was she...she told me four...then I said ....oh well when are you going to be 5.....this little one looked at me, smiled and simply stated "when im done being four"-- I could not stop laughing I thought that was toooo cute!!!!!

My daughter does things like this all the time, but the thing is that we are not allowed to laugh. It hurts her feelings.
The latest example was last Friday when we went for her back to school haircut. She knew exactly what she wanted done to her hair and I knew what I wanted done to mine as well. The lady that was cutting her hair said, "How do you want your Mommy to get her hair done?" My daughter responded, "I'm not going to judge how my mommy gets her hair done."
Kathryn is 6-years-old and just started 1st grade today.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...I love it....they really are their own little personalities aren't they ;) And, if I may add- at the age of six already not one to judge- kudos to you for raising her with respectable morals and values!!!!
