Earn More Money with myLot Flyers!

Awhile back we mentioned in a myLot alert that we had released a new tool for you to use to earn more cash with myLot. However, we never really dove into the details on how mylot users can utilize this tool to grow their earnings. The tool we are talking about, myLot Flyers, is a tool that anyone with a website or a blog can use to easily refer new users under their referral ID.
myLot Flyers are located within your interest pages. If you click on one of your interests you will see a small icon on the right hand side of the page that is labeled “flyers”. If you click on that icon you will see several different options that you can use on your site to promote mylot by interest. Click on the “get html” link beneath the flyer you want to utilize to promote mylot. Next, just copy that code onto your site where you want to display it and you are finished. Each person who comes to mylot and signs up for an account via the flyer you are using will be credited to you as a referral.
Below are some step by step directions on how to use “flyers”:
1. First, log in. You will not be able to see the flyers if you are not logged in.
2. In myLot, go to the interest that you wish to promote.
3. On the right side of the discussions section, click on the green "flyers" text to show the flyers.
4. Click the "get html" link under the flyer that you wish to put on your website.
5. A window should appear in the center that contains the HTML for that flyer.
6. You can either press Control-C or click the "Copy To Clipboard" link* to copy the HTML to the clipboard.
7. Paste the code on your site where you’d like to have it displayed and you are ready to start earning!
Promote as many of your interests as you’d like. It’s that easy!

Therefore we earn only IF they are active?
Or is there some sort of sign-up bonus when they join?

I think it is same with other type of referral method. Only get paid if our referral being active. Since myLot never mention about sign-u bonus, I don't think they will give one. That is only my guess. Hope myLot admin would clear this one ASAP.

I think referral banners are like way more interesting rather than promoting with words and text. Therefore, this is another option for mylot members to promote to others. Some people like colorful banners and they will sign up because they are attracted to it in the first place; something like that, I think..

I hope myLot team seriously think about our 1st. responder "mysdianait" idea about bonus referral earning to referrer. There is a systemic logic in her idea, asking members to work hard in looking for referral with no bonus is quite unfair because our displayed flyer or banner with the word "myLot" displayed is vulnerable for viewers to bypass our referral link. My true experience in my truly comment to myLot team members.

Your very right statement, rberon1985. Sometimes small promotion able to highlights our tendency to be more better. Another thing is a Monthly Winning Contest with cash prizes to winners 1, 2, & 3's PayPal account. Not much but it helps.

I also hope that mylot would here her concern. honestly, it is really hard to look for an active referrals here in the site. I have 16 referrals in the site but I only get around 2 - 5 cents and that is not everyday. So you yourself have to do your best for you to reach the minimum pay out in the site.

Hi there, i like this idea i have a blog and I want to promote mylot but i dont see any banners here. Now with this new feature of mylot i can now easily promote mylot, but this is also means that we earn when somebody sign up under this banner. So it is almost the same with referral link? Correct me if I'm wrong, well i will try this one, goodluck to us and happy mylotting

I am also glad that they have introduced this feature.It is really hard to promote the site just by the referral link. You are right, this flyers and the referral link is just similar. You know, i have 16 referrals here in the site but nobody is active, They just signed up and leave the site already.it was really sad.

This will be a great help to increase our earnings here in mylot. But it would be sad and useless if they will not be active after the registration. I have 16 referrals in the site and only 2 were quite active. Sometimes I only get 2 - 3 cents in their participation. I already put the flyers in my blog and I hope I will get a very active referral in the site. Thank you so much for giving another opportunity for us to earn in the site.

I mean... I can just use my ref link and attach my own attractive photo...
Is there something more to this? Or is it just like a banner with a ref link attached to it for the ones who doesn't know how to do that?

I guess it works same as a regular site banner where we will earn more if we find more referrals join under us using our links. Anyway this new interest flyers seems more exciting than the regular banners. I just hope I can find referrals by using these Flyers. Thanks and Have a nice day.

Earn money with mylot flyers..........
Humm it sounds easy but where I seem to get lost is when you say that we can Paste the code on our site wherever we'd like to have it placed at??? I will have to give it a look and see if this is something that I can handle on my own. If not I may need some help as far as having someone to walk through it with me. Do we have any volunteers here at mylot?

I have some suggestions to make flyers - banners more .. suitable.
- make the flyer be as a widget, to embed lat Q and last A (excerpt of, of course);
- colour customizable;
- add to your script a "simple" variant of tiny-url and make reff link not-looking-as-a-refferal-link;
- in replace to above, add a javascript snipet to a href-tag to make it invizible in status bar - example:

onmouseover="window.status=' (customizable text in preference menu) '; return true"
title=" (customizable text in preference or same as previous) "
target="_blank"
- the above 2 may be optional, selected in preference;
- banner - flyer - widget, no matter the name, to have standard dimensions or customizable dimensions, while be shaped square, horizontal or vertical or even rounded :-P. I don't know asp, but with php easyly can be created as a image and saved in database - on user table, aside with password, name and stuff.

Yep, it's easy and brilliant! This is far more eye catching than the plain referral link. Now, I can write something about myLot by placing the banners within my entry and in my blog. Hope it will not only attract my blog buddies to find out and join, but also the other audience as well. Thanks and thumbs up!!
