My cellphone battery driving me crazy!

Oh my god! Do you have any solution inside your mind? I had bought a mobile phone a couple of months back. At the initial stage, the battery backup was not bad, though not satisfactory. But as time passed by, the battery is keeping me one the run! I am serious!
Say, I have put my mobile phone in charge. A few minutes later, the battery indicator will show that the charge is full. But if I make any call or receive anybody's call, then within 5 minutes, the phone will switch off itself giving me a "low battery, phone switching off!" signal.
Tell me what should I do? Should I sue the mobile phone company for giving me so much low quality battery?

If I were in your situation, I would not sue the mobile phone company, but
I would instead go back to their store to have them check it. Who knows, they might replace your batteries (or your phone) with a new one. Didn't they give you any months warranty for your mobile phone? Usually, companies do that.

As you have mentioned that your phone is couple of months old you contact the person from where you have purchased your mobile handset and ask him to replace the battery for a new one. If he refuses to do so saying that you have tampered the battery. The best that you can do at this time is to go near your lawyer and file a suit against the person and complain it to consumer forum this is the best place to sue them. They investigate into the matter and if they find that the company is guilty in any way they will ask the company to replace the battery and also to pay you the compensation for the expenses that you have incurred.

If you sue against the mobile phone company you have to expense lots of money. You have to give handsome money to your lawyer, court fee and so many troubles. It's better to buy another new battery. But don't buy "do number chij".

I would understand if that was my mobile because it was already old and we already changed the battery but it still has to be charged after 10 hours had passed. But you said you just purchased your mobile then my friend, you better return that if it still is covered by warranty.
I do believe that there is something wrong with your mobile. It has to be hanged for another one. I don't recommend you to do anything to fix it. Since if you have done something on that mobile, you may not be able to return it back to where you bought it.
So just take the time to go back on that shop to where you bought the item and tell them the problem you are experiencing and they will be the one to fix it, if not, change it to another one. Happy Mylotting.

Suing a company over low battery quality isn't very clever. Firstly, you pay yourself nuts on lawyer and court fees and secondly the judge is not going to be impressed and will advice you to file a complaint with the company itself, of course the company has put you on their blacklist so they will completely ignore you and leave you behind with your phone.
Conclusion: File a complaint with the company and ask them whether they either want to repair it or whether they choose for giving you a new mobile phone. Give them a reasonable term to fix the troubles. :)

I think its best you go back to the place who sold the mobile piece to you and see if they can either replace the piece itself or if they can replace the battery.
Does the cell phone not come with some kind of a warranty, since you did not buy the phone too long ago. I sure hope it does. Good luck with that.

Little_Boy,
I do not think suing your cellphone company is valid or feasible here.
First of all, I am just quite amazed that your cellphone could be fully charged in a few MINUTES! I am sorry but I think there must be a mistake somewhere or I am missing it.
So, please refer to your phone's instruction manual and check just how long is really needed to achieve a full charge for your cellphone. Also, did you follow to the teeth, on your initial charge for your cellphone? I think it is mandatory to have a minimum of 8-12 hours on the initial charge and subsequent 3 charges must be done when the battery is totally drained. (Note this may vary with different brands and models, so please check your manuals)
If you have adhered all of the instructions, and still face the same problem on a normal usage then, don't hesitate to bring your phone to the dealer or nearest authorized service center to have your phone checked out. You need not worry so much as your phone should be still within the warranty period and if your battery is found to be faulty, which is always the case, I am sure the replacement for a new battery will be free of charge conditionally.
Hope this will be of help and that your cellphone is back to normal.
Take care.
