The Bible is already outdated. Let's revise it! It would make a lot of money.

Revise the what? Youre kidding, right? I mean, how will you revise something that is thousands of years old? If a lot of people are becoming atheist, which of course they don't believe in "God" then what's the point of revising something if people will still now believe it? If people think the Bible is fake, do you think people will believe if someone actually revised a "fake" thing? I don't think so.

I can understand what you mean to say. But Bible is Bible for whatever it is. If you want to change it then it won't be the Bible, it will be something else! One can try and give some new explanation and analyse Bible in his own way and interpret in such a way that it suits to the modern thinking and knowledge. Other than that one can't change much. If at all it is changed then why do one wants to call it Bible? Simply one can write some new book and call it by some 'xyz' name and say that it is more opt to these days than the Bible! I am sure most will still go for the old 'Holy Bible' So it is up to the person how one takes it. And how he interprets it. One need to grasp the good ideas and improvise on them. Simply saying something is outdated doesn't help anything. Whatever it is today, it will be outdated in future, so why do we need to think that we know the BEST? I'm not too sure what you mean by this? Find a way to monetinize the bible or are you saying make a whole new bible that reaches out to a new target audience e.g the younger teenagers? If you were to make a new bible it might not be as good as the old ones because as with any translation of words there may be some gray areas. Take the people of new zealand. Maori and the european sailers who came to reside in New Zealand. These europeans came to live on the maoris indigineous (if thats how you spell it) so they made a treaty for peace and protection from the queen. In the translation they made horrible mistakes causing land to be pretty much stolen and is causing so many problems even still today. So making a bible may frowned upon. If thats even what your talking about doing :)
