I will be honest and say that is so long time when i went to a movie,i don t have time, and is more comfortable for me to watch to a movie from my own home, stay in bed and maybe sleeping after a half of hour.
In those days, i think that not many people go in a public place to watch to movie, internet give us so many oportunity, and tv and dvd, help us to watch from home to what movie we want.

Well, the last time I went to the movies where it wasn't geared for children was almost a year ago when we had free tickets. now, we simply cann't afford to go. We'd have to pay a babysitter for the girls, and then pay for tix. Not worth it. I did see a few movies over the summer when a couple of places sponsored free summer movies for the kids. But..only had kid movies.

hi there,
It's been about 2 years since the last time that I went out to watch a movie with my friends, because when I was at college, it's about 1-hour-bus driving to the down town, and right now I have work to do and still dont have much time to go to cinema to watch a movie, and the ticket for the cinema also is a problem.
Good day!

Hi there icesmile!
I think the last time I went to the movies was about two or three months ago. Hahaha! Yeah, I think that long already. For one, there is really not much time to spare to go to the movies. Besides, if we have spare time, my boyfriend and I would rather travel or if time would not permit a long travel, then we would use our free time walking or running. Moreover, it is not so practical to go to the movies anymore. It is a little expensive.

Oh my goodness it was probably 5 years ago. I know I haven't been to a movie since my grand daughter was born and she will be 4 in October and I went about a year before she was born. I don't have anybody to go with and I don't want to go alone.

Some movies are to be viewed on big screen and then you can get the dvd and watch again if you want. Specially movies like Titanic. I watched it on big screen first.

Month or two ago. It was ages I've been stripped for cash so I haven't been going out much at all. If I do go out it'll be to a mates house for budget food and drinks and a rented movie. It's hard to get out in this day and age. Everyone's busy and everyone's go no cash. Lets hope it changes some time soon aye. :)

The last time I went to the movies was around 10 years ago. Although I enjoyed the film, I felt uncomfortable in the seats and had a pain in my neck through constantly trying to see around the people's head in front of me. I am far more comfortable getting the DVD and watching it at home. It's cheaper too, because I usually sell the DVD on ebay afterwards. - Derek

The last time i went to the movies was last month, i saw Harry Potter with my husband and our friends. I only watch movies at the cinema for some movies who really really have some great special effect and that will look perfect at the cinema, if it's watched a drama movies i usually watched it at home...

I used to have the same opinion about watching a movie in a movie theater and at home. As you said, watching movies at home is more convenient and comfortable. I can adjust the volume, pause and resume. I can even lie on bed. However, after I tried once watching a film in the theater, I became a movie-goer. I found the feelings the theater offers can never be experienced at home. I love the giant screen, the shaking sound effect, and I even enjoy the atmosphere when almost everybody around me is laughing or screaming at some plot in the movie. The conditions in the theater are changing and the service is developing so fast and becoming more customer-friendly. I strongly recommend you go, at least once.

It has been over 5 years ago since I went to the movies. We usually just wait until the movie comes on TV or buy the movie if we really want to see it.

It's been more than 2 1/2 years since I went to the movies with my husband. I have gone to the movies to see the Hannah Montana 3D, Jonas Brothers 3D and High School Musical 3 with my 13 year old daughter but besides that .. nothing for fun. I am going to try to convince him to go out on a date this weekend... it's long overdue.
I do however like watching movies from home but have found that I can only watch it when my daughter is sleeping and then I usually would just prefer to read a book.

The last time I went to the movie theater was when I took my daughter to see lion king. She is 15 now so that was many years ago. Up until a couple of years ago, I did take my girls to the drive-in movie at least once or twice during the summer. That is kind of fun but they grew up and aren't interested anymore. My daughter does go to the movies with friends pretty regularly. I think the younger people do still enjoy it. If I want to watch a movie, I prefer to watch it at home. Nothing entices me to spend that kind of money at the theater so much that I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

I have not been to a cinema for several years because cinemas here are not very good and they don't show us good movies. I can download many films from the net and watch it at anywhere anytime. I can pause movies when I have difficulty following them. Watch movies at home is quite convenient, so why do I have to pay for the movies in cinema?!

Well, well, well, I've never been to the movie theatre in about 8 months. The last time I went was when I was still in the Philippines. Now that I'm in the US, my hubby and I would prefer to enjoy a feel-good film just at home. We'd play it on our flat screen TV monitor. We usually watch a movie prior to bedtime. That's how we bond and enjoy each other's company. To us, it's romantic already. Romantic comedies appeal to me more than any other. My hubby is starting to like this genre. He'd rather horror films which I'm not a big fan of. We compromise, though.

To be quite honest, somewhere around 1 to 3 years ago. I don't really remember, but I just find it hard to find people to go to the movies with and the money to spare. I watch most movies online. And most of the time I'm too lazy to get dressed to go out.
