Help: Can anyone suggest what brand of digital camera should I buy?

Hi everyone!
I’m planning to buy a digital camera. I want to post pictures of my pets and also am planning to create my own online shopping site. But I’m not a techy gal so I don’t know much about gadgets.
Could anyone suggest me a brand or model of digital cam that’s not too expensive? I don’t need those from top of the line brands. I just want a simple one. A digital camera with video feature. I’m not sure if all digital cameras can take videos so that’s why I’m asking for help. I can go from php10,000-15,000 if there’s any. But if there’s a digital cam that I could get for just php5,000 the better.
So, what can you suggest? Give me the specific brand or model. If you can post a picture, that would be nice.

I have a Canon camera at the moment, i had tried other brands in the past but i find Canon to be one of the best. I have the IXUS (sp?) currently and i think its really good. Im not sure money wise how it would convert across but here in the UK there are from £120 to £150 so a pretty mid priced camera and excellent value for money.
