Will you get your driving license if you do not own a car?

In my opinion, we need the driving license even if we don't have our own car. I believe we will need it someday. In my experience, sometimes I have to drove my friend's car. I borrowed from them. If I don't have the driving license, how can I borrow the car from my friends. They won't lend it to me. So, we need the driving license, in case we to use it someday.

Even if you don't have a car some jobs like driver or forlift operator requiring you to have driver's license. Some can't afford to have a car so they think that it is not necessary to have a driver's license. Sometimes it can help you to find a job if you knew how to drive you can be a driver of any kind. Driving is also an important skill now a days. I think if someone teach me how to drive I will apply to get a driver's license but at this moment I don't know how to drive.

Hi winterliang,I think car is an important and very useful vehicle in our daily life,so it is necessary to get an driving license even we do not have ability to buy a car.Maybe someday, when we have our own car,while, have no time to study driving.Sooner or later,we will have to use car, don't we?In fact,I am trying to pass the driving test this summer.

I don't think I will get a driving license when I don't have a car. As I am afraid to have car accidents since I don't have enough chances to practise my driving at usual because I don't have a car. I want to have a driving license when I can afford a car for myself.

Any body can get a driving license for a car even if they can't afford to buy one for themselves.One should know how to drive and that is all the qualification to apply for a driving license.There are people who are ready for driver jobs and they have to get it.And there are people who have the confidence to buy a car in the future and they need not await until then.Cheers!

I think it's normal to get a license before owning a car. I got my valid license when I was 20 years old. I don't have a car, only my father's. Plus, I hardly drive it. When I own my car, I bought an automatic. It's easier to drive with an automatic car instead of a manual one.

Well in my country you can get a license even if you do not have your own car or never get one. What matters is you should be 18 years of age and must know how to drive.

driving license has nothing to do with affording the CAR , if u have lisence u can drive anyones car , this happens in India
