My friend said that it is possible to change the ip address and make it look like, it is from different region. Is it possible to do that? The ipconfig in cmd shows the computer ip but the ISP router has a different ip which is for internet. So how to change that router IP. Would the ISP block us for changing? Any expert on hacking could you please teach me how to do that?

well, i don't know the exact method of how to change the ip address but what i know is that it can only be done with those who's ip addresses are dynamic in nature. they shouldn't be static as i have. i have a static ip address and cannot be changed. so, i am sorry but i will not be able to help you brother. take care.

Well most of the time you just hide your ip address from the 3rd party website that you viewing yea . Changing our actual ip address , think the isp would block us from connecting to the internet yea .

You can either reboot your modem or use a proxy, there is no way you can change the IP with cmd, its all controlled by your modem/router.

Actually it doesn't change your Public Address it was just jump to another IP address by using proxy servers. You are just misleading it that looks like it. I really believe you can do that your only hiding it by can be traceable. You can leave traces with.

I am not sure that you can do that without editing your router settings to run that IP address and connection.

changing your external ip address dosent take much effort
der are many ways to change you ip address.
1]Use proxy websites, i like http://hidemyass.com your external ip is changed to that of hidemyass' IP
2]If you are using firefox, you could try TOR extension.
3]If you are using a dial-up or pppoe connection, then redialing also changes you ip
