The famous film maker and director is at it again. He's made hit after hit of good anime movies. Like, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's moving castle, Spirited Away, and so many more. His latest film is 'Ponyo' and it's a loose adaption off of the 'Little Mermaid.' The good thing is that it's finally getting it's American release for those who don't prefer subtitles.

I read what you two had put and I agree. When I first saw Kiki I didnt know it was Anime and I didnt know he had made more, well not till I saw Castle in the sky at a yard sell. I hope to one day own all of his movies, if not watch them. I have watched (so far) Kiki, Castle in the Sky, Howls moving Castle (squeal), Whispers of the Heart, The Cats Return (Sequel to Whispers of the heart), Princess Mononoke, Ponyo and (My favorite to watch right now) My neighbor Totoro!!!
I still have a lot of his to watch lol I really do enjoy his movies. Howls moving castle kept me out of depression for the longest of time.
Now about the whole subtitle thing, I Have never watched any of his movies in Japanese (I know I need to) but the few shows I have watched in japanese I find really awesome. I also am starting to pick up on some words. (Like in the Fate Stay Night second theme song I was doing something else when I heard "Hoshi" which means star. I tole James {my fiancee} that the song is about a shooting star, I later looked it up and I was right! I was so happy to know that spending all that time watching Anime in Japanese paid off lol)
I know long rant. But hey ITS ANIME!!!!! XDDD
