I have been bad about this... need to go to toilet in the middle of my sleep at midnight and I hate this a lot... I don't like ot have to wake up from my sleep and go to toilet... but it is unbearable to me so I have to do it.
It has been hotter these days, I feel so thirsty all the time, so I drink more at night... so that does it for me... the other thing is I cannot eat any fruits before bed within couple hours, otherwise, I will HAVE to go to toilet... no question about it...
What about you?

Oh nope, I dont need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Im just a heavy sleeper that when Im asleep, Im really asleep. I wouldnt know what's going on even if an extra terrestrial has gone into my room, poked into my stuff, or whatnot. Waking feelings, which includes being hungry, feeling the need to go to the bathroom, etc, would just be postponed until I start to wake up. That moment, even if I want to go back to that deep sleep, I cant because I would already have felt the feelings, so I would have to get up.
Otherwise, I sleep like a log.

That's good, when you are deeply in sleep, pee won't be able to wake you up!

I do not know whether you feel your private is wet, and you have to go often to the WC, if you are , maybe you have prostatitis, please stop to eat the peppery food and go to doctor.

I think that I am blessed to have a undisturbed sleep always.I rarely gets up during my sleep to go to the loo.I hate to do that too.I can wake up s long as I can.But disturbed sleep will make me irritated and tired. So I make it a point to empty my bladder completely before hitting the sack.

I used to pretty good in that area but now it happens a lot more frequently. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I’m getting older! (LOL)
I don’t know if there is a solution to the problem except not drink so much before bedtime!

it's very rare for me to go to the toilet in the middle of my sleep. I did drink a lot of water at night time. Let say if i want to go to sleep around 12 am, i will drink whatever i feel i want to drink before 11.30 pm. Just before i jump in my bed, i will go to the toilet so that i can get rid what i drank before. When i'm already in my bed, i won't take much water anymore and i'll have a restful sleep :)

i see, u just drink a little bit of water before your sleep can disturb you couple hours after that? That's troublesome.. As for me, i can keep the water i drank until the next morning.

Hello mermaidivy,
I seldom wake up in the middle of the night unless I need to prepare milk for my son. Normally, I will wake up by myself one or half an hour before the time I set on my alarm daily, and only feel the urge to go to the washroom that time *smiles*

well i wouldn't say it's a lot for me, but yep, i do go like twice or thrice in a night. and i don't even drink that much water. but it is really frustrating when you can't bear it and have to go to the toilet, especially when you're still really half sleepy. this usually happened to me when i was pregnant.

hi this is from me Hatley I am a diabetic and you are showing the first classic signs of prediabetes. You say you are thirsty all the time and you have to get up a lot to go to the bathroom at night. okay, before too long please go and get yourself tested for diabetes from your primary care doctor. these are classic first symptoms and if you let it go and you are pre diabetic you will become a real diabetic. it can be checked if you find out at once. if you are not, fine then you dont have to worry. but its best mermaidivy to know whether or not you are. I found out the hard way that I had diabetes when I went to see a doctor about an eArache, and he found a blood test on my chart that was almost a year old that showed I had diabetes, and the previous doctor had done nothing about it. had I been helped then I might have been kept from getting full blown diabetes .the first signs are going to the bathroom a lot and being horribly thirsty.

I this it is a custom. You tried not to go in the middle of your sleeping. It can be better. Trust me. I have been this before. But then I tried my best not to go.

Hey mermaidivy! Yes, unfortunately I do have to go to the
bathroom during the night! And it is usually quite a few times
a night! I have trouble sleeping as it is and if I do fall
asleep I have trouble staying asleep and this surely doesn't
help the issue! And I also am constantly thirsty all night
from the medications that I take so I am also drinking all
night! So it is a neverending situation for me and one that
no one seems to be able to find the answer to!

I go to the toilet like 2-3 times if I drink right before I sleep.

You might need to avoid eating salty foods for dinner as this will make you thirsty of a night time! If you drink loads of water before your dinner time too, then you will be less likely to need to drink later in the evening! Also avoid drinking anything other than water, leave the fruit and fruit juice for earlier in the day
We have gone through all this in recent years trying to get our son to stop wetting his bed at night! He has to drink loads of water in the morning and middle part of the day so that he does not drink in the evening and we have changed his diet!

I think it's because I drink a lot of liquid after dinner and it will do it I think.

i seldom.
i know if u have such a habit, then even if u dont drink before sleep, u still need to go to the washroom in the middle of ur sleep.
maybe u can have a try to drink less, and bear not to go for some days. then slowly, u'll forget it.
and another way, go to sleep when you are very tired, and then maybe u'r too tired to get up.

I drink more now than I used to before I had my daughter so I go all night long too. I don't think there are many nights in the past 3 years that I have been able to sleep all the way through. Even if I took a sleeping pill I still wake up to go to the bathroom.
