Would you prefer to watch a movie alone or with company?

Doing fun stuff like watching a movie is always better with company. If you're watching a funny movie you can't enjoy it as much alone because it feels weird to laugh by yourself. Its true that you have to pick who you watch it with. Cause if it's someone who talks the whole time during the movie and asks dumb questions I'd rather watch it by myself.

i do like to watch movies with people but only certain people as i agree with you it is annoying when people talk through a movie, i like having someone there though because it drives me crazy when i watch a really good movie alone and then none of my friends have seen it and you have noone to discuss it with! And scary movies should always be watched with someone and dont really require people to be silent either, i havent seen a scary movie in a long time that actually required thinking to follow it!

Lately, I've been watching home movies with my aunt. Especially the horror ones. But fortunately, she's not the type who asks so many questions. She does ask a couple of times, but that's that. We both love horror movies and it's really fun watching those movies with her. Like last night, we watched this reality show that is on exploring haunted places. The people who were featured on that episode were really funny. They were scared as they explored the entire area looking for clues...but they were alone and it was really, really dark. My aunt and I had a great time watching that show. But I do have another aunt who's the exact opposite of her. Now, this another aunt will start asking question from the start of the movie until it finishes. She just never stops! Most of the time, we try to answer more than a couple of her questions. But way beyond that, we just tell her to just sit back, relax and watch in silence!

well, i do watch movies all alone...i like to watch it alone.... i will concentrate on the movie when i am watching alone....if i am gonna get some friends around me, they will be shouting, making comments, so i could not see the movie properly..even horror films, i do watch all alone..i wanna experience the horror scray effect all alone.. happy top respond.. happy mylotting...

I think I don't mind having any company or not,because I don't think they will disturb my attention. My focus will only be on the movie itself. But having a company who would enjoy the movie together is very nice too.

Well, my bf does this annoying thing, and after 7yrs, he still does it, even though he knows i hate it. He will IMDB a movie while watching it because he recognizes a 2-bit actor/actress and wants to know if they also starred in some god-aweful show from the 60's, or was it the 70's, or "weren't they also on "gunsmoke." It's so freakin' annoying. Yet, he STIll won't stop. It's like a disease. Instead of having IBS, he has a serious case of IMDB. Well, maybe that, too. What's really annoying is his absolute "certainty" that he knows who that particular actor/actress is, until I tell him that they don't even look like who he's talking about. And he does all this, while I'm trying to watch the bloody movie. No, I'm not British, I just like to say, "bloody." Specially when I'm really pissed. Although a sweet English stripper friend of mine from a few yrs back(wonder if she's still on the pole...?) let me know that in her country "pissed" means drunk. O, and if he's not IMDB-ing, he is playing World of warcraft simultaneously "watching" the movie; even if it's a subtitled film. It almost defeats the purpose.

I watch atleast one movie everyday. Mostly I watch movie on my computer. I like to watch movie alone at home, especially the intellectual ones. Now when I go to a theater I always make sure I have company. Usually when I go out to a theater I watch mostly commercial films, meaning those with a little bit of everything. They are mostly action movies. I will give you a list of movies I have watched in theater recently.They are THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON,TERMINATOR SALVATION,TRANSFORMERS 2 and THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE. Movies I have watched at home recently are FIGHT CLUB, SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, SCHINDLER"S LIST

Basically I don’t mind going by myself or go with somebody. Here I usually go to cinema with my husband although he does not totally want to go cinema, he more likes to stay home for his football. I realised he’s busy with his work during the weekdays and on weekends he needs break. So now I don’t push him to go cinema with me anymore. I watched Harry Potter 6 by myself in an afternoon of weekdays. I walked there and walked back. I took exercise and had entertainment.

I do not mine watching movies with family and friends as long as they do not keep talking while the movie is on. My family and friends know that if they want to talk then they need to go into another room when the movie comes back on or if the dvd is playing.

It all depends. Sometimes I like watching movies alone because I want to enjoy movies quietly, and sometimes I prefer watching movies with somebody else because I'd like to share with them. Maybe it is related to your mood. Sometimes you are probably like to be with others but sometimes not.

Either way is good for me. I used to watch movies on the big screens alone before. But now, I watch it with my husband most of the time especially scary ones. There were a few instances when I was with friends.

I dont mind others watching with me as long as they dont talk through the whole movie. As far as scary movies I love them. I think the scary movies nowadays are much better. You never really know what to expect from them. It does not bother me to watch them alone.

hello careguarden, Since I'm already a family man, I would prefer to watch movie with the whole family. That way, I will enjoy more. Than watching alone and then my mind is thinking about them. Is the best thing for after watching we can do some other things like malling and eating. Have some quality time with them and a good bonding as well.

I believe that watching a movie is a social experience. hence, i'd like watching it with someone or large group of people, especially when in the cinemas. that way, i can share viewpoints and opinions about the movie soon after watching it.

Sometimes i prefer to watch a movie alone.Once i couldnt sleep, and i decided to watch the movie alone, i was enjoy it very much. But sometimes i prefer to watch the movie with my fam. It depends on the situation.

I would like to watch a movie with company. In my view,something should be done by more than only one person.If not like that,we may lose more happiness. When more than one person do a happy thing,the happiness will be much happier.

Believe it or not, my favorite movies to watch alone are horror movies. I just love it! If I'm going to the theater, though, I like to have a good group of friends with me.
