Below are 2 ways tat you can actually earn money by writing article online, do share you opinion and experience on your earning money by writing article
1. Paid per article or post. Some sites may pay you a dollar or two for each post you make to your blog or article site.
2. By the number of words in the articles.Some sites or webmasters will pay you based on the number of words in your article or blog posted.

well I predominantly write for Helium so get paid upfront for my article (either $2.5 or $3.5) and then get daily revenue share from them as well. Also occassionally sell an article for a further $5. It all adds up and got $240 last month from Helium.
I also do occassional freelance work, both rewriting and writing, which pays per word.
