Do you think that Bill Gates is happy or not?

The only person who can answer that is Bill Gates himself. Happiness is relative, and so no one can just guess if Bill Gates is happy or not. What makes us happy may not make him happy and vice versa.

I am sure that Mr. Gates is really no different a person than you or I. I am sure he has good & bad days as we all do. Money can't buy happiness, it can only buy you material things.

I can not find any reason he's unhappy. he's rich as well as has a very happy family. what else he wants? the statements about him should be seen in two sides. it maybe true, but at least bill gates made the IT industry around the world. the man who might own the techlogy maybe have no the ability to develop it. last but not least, it maybe a rumor. bill gates himself developed the technology and he has the right to make profits from it. Bill gates donated most of his money to the world. So for this i think people should not critisize him.

bill gates is cool. he is like the riches guy in the world. i wish i have that kind of money he has i'll be happy if he is not happy. he is a good business man smart he helped made microsoft want it is today.

Well for one, he is sharp. His wife is the financial advisor so whatever she says he must be doing like an obedient husband. (Speculation - dont know for fact). Any man who obeys his wife cant really be happy, can he? (If he reads this, he might end up filing for a divorce). Seriously, suppose he sleeps 8 hours, it is 8 hours of happiness as he cant possibly be worried about burglars. Then two hours of exercise - indifference. Two hours for bath, eating and a little time with kids. Happy. The rest of twelve hours he is working! Constantly comparing what his nearest rival in Forbes list is worth! And how he can remain ahead of them if not defeat the one above. So his life is 50 : 50. Hey that is my score too. So what is the great thing he achieved. lol.

He probably is. You should read that Wired article entitled "Clive Thompson Explains Why We Can Count on Geeks to Rescue the Earth."

I would say that he probably has difficulties in life but I also think that he is a very happy individual! He has created his life the way he wants, he is very smart, you don't get to where he is without being smart. Whether he is a good person or not, I cannot make that judgement as I do not know the man in person. There's plenty of news stories about him but we can only speculate as to whether those stories are true or not. If I was asked though whos shoes I would want to step into it would definitely have to be Bill Gates. Andrew

I believe Bill Gates is just like anybody else.he has good days and bad days.he has happy and sad days.his happiness will really depend on himself.he has happy because he earns a lot of money.he is also happy because he gets to share it with the unfortunate people.he should feel contented because,no matter how many millions or billions he give to charity,he doesn't lose lots of money.

If I remember it right, a distant friend had said that even in the stature of Bill Gates, he still gets worried over some things. I guess you can already surmise that not all the money that he has can bring him total happiness. But now, I know that he and his wife are involved in different philanthropic activities. That could possibly give them happiness that no one can equal. Whatever he truly feels inside his heart, only him knows about it.
