Recently when one news reporter asked Sachin Tendular about his retirement..he repleid he want to play in WC 2011 and want to win that for an India....by saying this he was indicating that he wants to play for Indian team till 2011.
But do you really think India can win the WC 2011? After seeing their performance in 20-20 WC 2009? Though India is at no. 2 in ODI at this point of time..still the consistency in Indian cricket team is not seeing to the extent...in this case could you see India winning WC 2011 which is going to be held in India itself?
Kindly post your reply...

I think that it is too early to say who will the next world cup. Lot of time is there for the tournament to be held and in between many more matches are going to be played. I feel that the team which will be most fit and well prepared will the World Cup.
Sachin has said this because he is on the verge of retirement and he would definately like to end his career with a happy note that his team has won the world cup. But his statement shows how dedicated he is to his team and to his country. Hats off to you SACHIN....

i dont think so because in present indian tesm there is lack of experience and the team caanot hold the pressure for 50 overs although the team is good for 20-20 matches

This seems to be the most optimistic view in question because there is no such fitting evidence supporting the Indian Victory foresight-INDIA WC 2011.

Yes, it is Sachin's latest ambition. He wants to play well in WC 2011, win the cup and retire at the peak of glory. I want to salute this legend cricketer. I think with the present form out team Sachin's desire can be fulfilled easily if we get the support of luck as well.

Hello friend.
Welcome to myLot.
I would like to say that though India could not perform well in previous world cup, still it has got many opportunities in the upcoming world cup to be held in 2011. There are quite a few reasons with me to say so.
The first one is that the world cup is to be held in Indian subcontinent and history and records support that India has always performed very well at home.
Further, till 2011, India will become a very experienced side with Dhoni, Yuvraj, Hrabhajan, Rohit, Raina, Gambhir as there main players and in the meantime of 2 years they will gain a lot more experience and added to this is India will get services of Master Blaster and India always plays well under him.
India has always the weakness in bowling department, but in 2 yrs time, younger bowlers now like Ishant, Munaf etc will gain experience.
Also, unlike previous years, India has got some very strong players in the bench. And the number of allrounders also have increased in past few years and all rounders always help in balancing the team.
So. I think India has got good opportunities to clinch the 2011 world cup and let the dream of Sachin (to win world cup for India) comes true.
Happy MyLotting.

Exactly!!THE point you have mentioned are very true about the Indian Cricket team.More importantly I think the present day Indian cricket team has the aptitude, the hunger for winning.Anyways I also want Sachin to be a part of winning eleven before he retires.
