Who doesn't love to travel? Each individuals have various thought and activities for their travel. Some travel for the intention of relaxation, shopping, bird watching, to see beautiful panorama,to discover new cuisine, or as a pilgrim and etc... So where would you go to fulfill your dream? I love to go to beaches or an island. Whenever I get the chance to go for a holidays I will opt for an island trip. The sound of waves, then clear blue seas, swimming with fishes, that is what I love best. I just love to lay on the sand, suntanning and getting lazy on a beach, sipping coconut juice or pina colada. I have been to a few islands in South East Asia but I do find Krabi, Thailand has taken my breath away. It has mesmerizes me and caught my attention. I do reckon the peaceful Krabi is a place for individuals with stress and hectic life. Where do you like best and why? Share with me.

Travel entails liquidity, money wise. If I had extra funds, I would definitely go to Italy, Paris, Spain, Vegas, New York and the Bahamas. There are just few of the places in my list. Who doesn't want to hop from one nice place to another anyway? As a matter of fact, I'd love to travel the world. I'd like to go visit my hometown Cebu City soon, though. I've been away from home for six months, and to me, it seems like six years. I miss Cebu's active lifestyle. If I were younger, say 20, I would have applied as a flight attendant. Gosh, I never thought about that. FA's definitely have the privilege of travelling the world especially those working for airline companies that fly to Europe and US. Hopefully, in no time, I will have the privilege of visiting the nicest spots around the globe.

No! I finished my Bachelor's degree in 2001 already. I just got married three months ago. Being an FA seemed impossible by now since we are on the early stage of marriage.

As you said people like to travel with a certain liking for a particular passion. When I was twelve years old my brother went to united states of America for his higher studies.I really had a craze for that country.I always used to think I will visit it one fine day .But as I became older I didnt think about it seriously. Not that I will not go if I do get a chance. But the craving has gone away after 40 years. My daughter is now there .May be I will get a chance to visit it in the near future.

I really want to visit Australia some day. Our plan is to try to save money until our youngest graduates from high school and take both of the kids there for his graduation gift. Our oldest wants to go to Europe for her graduation gift. I suppose I'm going to have to wait 11 more years to leave the country again. But, there are also stateside places that I really want to visit as well. I'd love to tour New England. I also really want to go back to Florida and have the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. It really doesn't matter where I go, I just really like to travel.

Traveling is great! So mar my favorite place I have been is England, it has some gorgeous country side, and very interesting sites to see. However, I am much more of a warm weather, sunshine kind of person myself, and really enjoy beaches. Most of my travels recently have been road trips around Texas, which are nice, plenty of countryside, beautiful vinyards, and peach orchards, and animals! A low budget keeps us close to home, but for a nice weekend get away, Austin is always a great place to see. One of my favorite parts of our trip is stopping on the way home to watch the bats fly out from under the Congress brigde to go hunt for the night. There are several million that fly out each night and paint a steady stream of black across the sky. There are also several lakes around the area, and Schlitterbahn, the Gudalupe river, and other sites are within an hour and a half of Austin as well! My ultimate dream would be to visit Ireland. Hopfeully I'll make it to the emerald isle, it'd be great to see where my family came from!

I find it exciting to visit attractive looking faraway places that I have seen photos of. In the last couple of years I have tried to choose to visit destinations suitable for young children. This year I took my toddler son to Cape Town and the Garden Route in South Africa. I loved to see the interesting buildings, the wildlife and the stunning beaches. Most of all I adore visiting tropical islands but not again until my younger children are ready for it. I have been to the Seychelles and that is my idea for paradise. That is my perfect type of destination. It has white sandy beaches with palm trees, snorkeling opportunities and walking tracks. My favorite country that I have been to is Samoa. It has tropical scenery and a fascinating culture. It is reasonably priced and incredibly unspoilt. The Seychelles is really pricey but really special. I love it in Australia and New Zealand. They have varied landscapes and really friendly people. So far I have visited about 50 countries in the world and each one has its advantages.

I would also like to travel, especially in the holidays, I will bring my family to some place far away from the city, the quiet enjoyment of the short-term, I like nature, like the forest green, rather than reinforced concrete forest, so Whenever there is time, I will compare things out some beautiful landscape. To think about some problems. Enjoy life.

Hello Cathrine. How are you ? I like travelling a lot, and during my annual vacations I go to different places in my own country and overseas. Yes, I prefer going to places where I can just relax and enjoy the vacation, mountain resorts, beaches, beautiful islands. I have been to Thailand, and I went to Pattaya Beach. That was so beautiful. I did not get to go to Krabi. May be next time. And , to Kuala Lumpur too !

yes you should go to Krabi and Phuket. It's different from Pattaya. You will fall in love with Thailand!

Cathrinekhor, yes like you I always opt for a tropical trip. I have traveled to the Caribbean many times as well as Mexico. I loved it so much that my husband and I moved to Mexico! However, Thailand is my dream trip, I would love to visit, and Krabi sounds just wonderful. I love to lay on the beach with a cold libation and listen to the waves and watch the palm trees sway. Unfortunately for me Thailand is such a long trip, about 20 - 24 hours of traveling, plus the airfare is very expensive. Maybe one of these days I will both enough time and money to be able to visit. Until then I will relax on the beaches of Mexico and destress at home.

15 Aug 09
That is so cool. Both of you are really brave to move to Mexico. Where are you staying in Mexico? Do tell me about the beaches in Mexico. No worry I got a feeling that you will be here soon. You will be here relaxing in Krabi after the long haul flight!

I've already got a vacation planned next month. I'm going to Bohol. That is one of the tourist spots here in the Philippines. After that I'm planning to go to Florida to see Disney World. Or is it Disney Land? Anyway, I love amusement parks and I've heard that Disney's is the best.

I am heading to Boracay in Jan 2010. Long way to go and I really can't wait. Have you been to Boracay? Do tell me about your trip in Bohol! As for Disney , i think every human being should visit one before they die. Don't you think so ? I have been to Disneyland in Anaheim and Tokyo. I don;t really like Tokyo's Disney as i find its kinda small. I would love to go to Epcot, Disney World in Orlando Florida.

i also like the nature, the sound of the waves, the birds singing and the wind. I like to travel to a place where i can feel the nature, like in a beach near forest where after swimming,i can sleep under a tree. And in the morning hear the waves and birs singing. And go for some hiking, and enjoy the freshness of the wind away from city pollution.

bueno! i don't speak spanish i do a bit in Italian. hehee... I thought of going to the South America before. It's to dearly to go there from Kuala Lumpur. I have only been to the check point of Tijuana , Mexico did a little shopping at the border. The Incas and the Mayans ruin really attracts me . It's like Borobudur in Yogyakarta , Indonesia or the ancient ruins in Siam Reip in Cambodia. Have you visited the Mayan ruins?
