I never eat a salad WITH dressing A little salt and I am good to go. Dressing is, for me at least, disgusting tasting stuff. I don't know how anyone can enjoy it on salads or anything else. Also, it takes away the healthiness of the salad. Salad dressing is very fattening

Girl, I've tried eating a salad without dressing, and I'm not a fan! But because most dressing is so fattening, it's either go without dressing or find a healthier alternative. Seriously, have you looked at the fat grams for salad dressings? I think some people use lemon juice and balsamic vinegar for a light dressing, but I prefer to use fat free Italian. Fat free Ranch just doesn't taste that good. Ranch is my dressing of choice, but the fat free is no good.

I like my salad with dressing. Sometimes I also eat it without because it is healthier but i won't be enjoying it. I never got used to it but I still force down a dressing-less salad every once in awhile.

i always eat my salad without the dressing. i used to think that was disgusting but i realized that it's healthier to just eat the salad plain so i've started doing that and now i've gotten used to it. i really like the raw taste of the lettuce or carrots in my mouth. i really like a lot of things that are raw so it sort of explains why i can eat my salads without the dressing.

I eat salad without dressing for lunch sometimes. I like it. It's not much different from the salad with the dressing, except a bit healthier. When I eat it dry though I do put feta cheese on it which gives it more flavor.

Yes I have tried eating my salad without dressing many times. Normally when I am short of time I will just cut my salad and have it with my food. But I like the way it taste without any dressing on top. Yes it may feel bit of dry but taste wise I do not think it is bit. If you try doing it for some time I think you can get hooked to it. You may start liking it better without the dressing.

I don't think I would like it as well without the dressing, myself. If you're thinking about cutting out the fat, you could try vinegar and oil or light vinegarette. There are a lot of dressings that are low fat. When I was a small child, I used to eat just plain lettuce. I didn't think I would like salad. When I started first grade, my first day of school, I thought I had to clean my plate and we had salad. I ate it and I found out what I had been missing out on, lol. Kathy.

I always make some sort of dressing for a salad to be set on the table. But while I´m cooking, I nibble a lettuce leaf, some celery, a piece of carrot, the uglier part of a tomato and so on, no dressing. I love that. I´m a nibbler. I suppose it has grown worse since I quit smoking . Making a salad dressing in so interesting that I always use them. I never buy made dressings, I do them myself.

Yes I do. I did it many times.
I agree vegetable salad is very good for our body and it’s a good way to lose weight. However the dressing is not so healthy. So I decided just have the salad without the dressing. I should say it’s not too bad. After a couple of times you would get used to it and enjoy it. However when I had the salad without any dressing I usually had other cooked meal to accompany with, such as fried sausage or pizza. So I did not feel the taste too plain.

I can eat salad without dressing and my 9 year old daughter actually prefers it without any dressing. But, I enjoy my salad with a little vinegar. I usually will also add a little olive oil or grapeseed oil, which are healthier than other oils or dressing.

Salad are Salad if you keep on dressing it with some odd ingredient than how come it remains Salad......it would become some odd recipe at the end while on the other hand all the health benefits will be ruined off.We have to remember on what purpose the salad are being consumed.....specially our female counterpart have it routinely just to keep her body in curvy shape.Salads do not add any fat to the body it just keep you full through out the day.
So have some Salad everyday in the raw form,I would like everyone to see healthy at the end.
