I use both Facebook and MySpace. Which one is better depends on your intentions. In my opinion, Facebook has become more popular with people actually wanting to make friends and non-teenagers. MySpace can argueably be called an "online booty call". I use MySpace for a few friends but mostly for the games.

I have an account with both of them. I spend a little bit more time on facebook these days, but I still like the setup of myspace. I like to be able to express myself by designing my page.

Hi Dawyka! I never like myspace layout and I would vote for facebook. Yes, there is no layout in facebook, but you can always have unique page with your own applications.
I believe both social networking sites have their own fanatic fans, which would make them still popular, but for me myself, facebook is safer than myspace. You would be able to set your page hidden and discreet if you want that to happen. And the other thing I like in facebook is that you would be able to access it with the facebook application on your mobile phone. I can get updated every second though I am not in front of my computer.

i have an account at both communities. the myspace account is held by my alter ego, and this is where one can visit and interact with me by invitation only and whatnot, it is here where i can say whatever i want without fear of consequences, i say this because with a myspace account anyone can find you using your name. granted they can have limited access out there too but since i found out that prospective employers and collegers go on there to check people out, i have decided not to air my controversial views on facebook. facebook also allows people from my past life to find me should they choose to reconnect, that is the upside with it. i love myspace because of the page layout, i have more creative licence with that and i can add whichever wallpaper i want and load up a playlist of my favorite music that people can listen to should they choose to visit my page. i have met more interesting people on myspace than i have on facebook. so i say why not have both this way you have the best of both worlds. and you get to decide which one works better for you, then maybe cancel the other one or whatever.

Facebook seems more targeted to the professionals and college-aged people, whereas Myspace is more of a teenager thing. I have both, but I prefer Myspace. You're able to customize your profile to your liking, and that really shows off your personality.. with Facebook you don't really have individuality. I like Facebook's user interface, but overall it's Myspace ftw.
