Do you care about time to call or visit?

I respect another person's time. So I guess it is best to call or pay a visit during the time I know I am expected or the time I know I can be entertained. I would not go when I know that I will be disturbing them. I also don't like doing late visit except when it is a late party.

Unless there is some sort of emergency, I think calls and visits should be restricted to the normal hours. In most cases, that's between 9 AM and 9 PM. A visit should not occur unless a call was made first to make sure those we are visiting are not being inconvenienced.

it depends who and how close they are to me. when i was younger, i used to get calls from friends at very late hours, and we used to talk a while for fun, mostly while relaxing in bed before bedtime. i dont think anyone i know has dropped in my place at very late hours.

Hi zhuhuifen, woe betide anyone who calls anyone in the summer months between three and six, this is not allowed and most people know this, it's siesta time. Work stops and lunch is taken and the do not disturb signs go up. Visiting is preceded by a call unless you are passing and the person shouts out to you to come in and visit.

I think this is a basic courteous for someone who need to make a visit.. and I will normally don't welcome unexpected visitor.. I will show some faces, and don't even bother to serve any drinks since I am not expecting them.. I will tell my friends, to at least give me an hour before time to prepare.. or else, expect un-warm welcome.. and as for me, I will surely call when I want to do a visit, and I don't simply call at those weird time where I think people maybe sleeping or napping..

My grandparents live right downstairs. I visit very often since they are so close but still, my grandfather is always calling me whenever I'm not down there. I never call them since they nap throughout the day. Sometimes I just drop by downstairs to see if they are home or awake since I have the keys rather than call them.

it depends on the person. i don't ever call anyone if i think its too late or they might be busy. i don't have any old people that i call lol but if i did i wouldn't call them late. i couldn't help it if i disturbed their nap though because i wouldn't know they were taking a one lol

Hi, I always try and visit people as early as possible in the morning. If not then at least on the morning side of dinner. I have more energy then so I assume that most people do. I visit my grandma at 9 in the morning as I know she tires in the afternoon. Also I like to get anything I need to do out of the way in the morning, so in the afternoon I can come home, have a cuppa and relax with the kids. I dont think Ive ever called on anyone late unless theyve specifically asked me to, I even try and make doctors and dentist appointments as early as possible. I wonder if it all boils down to the type of person you are..a nightowl or a morning lark? Im definitly a lark :)

It depends on the matter for which I am going tomeet them.If i know that they sleep at a particular time then I wont disturb calling them or visit them.I dont mind calling or visiting them if the need be.

It must be considered before I call some one,even friends. Everybody may met the case that your call made other's in trouble.I've exprienced that I called my best friends several times,and heard that she flushed the toilet during the chat.It make all of us embarrassed.Also,if I must to call my client, I will ask he or she that is it convenient for you to talk with me now. I will soon make an appointment for call if it is not the right time. Also, I myself get the call from others when I'm eating,have a nap or just answering another call. So,it would be better to choose a supposed good time to call someone.
