Help: Will Mylot Delete the Discussions that I Post Long Before?

Hello Adarcy, I don't think MyLot people delete the discussions ever, provided they are valid and useful. Only the meaningless and vague discussions get deleted so you need not worry much because I assume your discussions are not into this category. All the best for your collection.. It's a great idea and I would consider using something like that for myself as well.

No, I don't think so. Mylot only deletes discussion that's against their rules. I made a discussion three years ago and it's still around. I only noticed it recently when some one commented on it but its definitely still around.

I've seen 3 year old discussions, so no, they won't get deleted unless they violate guidelines. However, if you plan to anthologise your writing, I would say keep copies. I keep copies of all my articles on my computer, as very often I edit them because my opinion changes, new information becomes available, or I want to take a different view of the topic. Working like this, I can often get 4 or 5 new articles from the original. You may also find that some of your responses can be expanded into articles. This has often happened to me. Create 2 files called 'discussion topics'and 'responses' and make your writing work harder for you.

Discussions within the guidelines of mylot will not be deleted. Try to post the discussions within the guidelines.

I do not think that mylot will delete your discussions, even you it is the discussions you make long before. But if you are against mylot rules, mylot will delete your discussions. So do not worry about that. Have a nice day!
