Is TAGGING important??

Tags are very important if you want to get your discussion seen by more users. You should use tags which are relevant to the discussion. When you start a discussion you can add up to 10 tags and the first 5 will be visible. The tags will cause other similar topics to show up in the column on the tight and likewise when a discussion in the list is open, yours will be seen there too. When users see it there they might then open it and respond. If you use relevant tags it will also show up whn you use the searchbar at the top of the page here and also when you search for things using other mor popular search engines. Whether we are paid for tagging only the admin knows as it is not stated anywhere in the FAQS. However tagging is an activity so it's anyone's guess. It would be a sad world if we only do things which we are paid for though wouldn't it? Tagging can earn you more responses so you can definately earn indirectly by using them.

I always tag my discussions in mylot and I have never ever skipped this option because I want others to trace my discussions too and as I got the messages from mylot I am concious too.

No I don’t think so. In fact I really don’t understand the importance of tagging though mylot says its important in organizing our interests and responses in a better way. I have never tagged any of my responses and I find it a waste of time and very roundabout way of posting responses.

If you want your discussion to be viewed by many users, then tagging is absolutely important. I am not sure whether we could earn more by tagging the discussions. But tagging is quite important in publishing our Discussions to ohter's in mylot. Tags are really vital in either a discussion or responses and comments so that it can tracked down and replied upon by another user. tags can also add earnings to you besides uploading pictures. so, start tagging now cause it's important too

Yes, I am sure tagging helps to get more responses and eventually more income. I think we need to tag when we start our discussion and should also tag when we respond.

Tags are what bring people to your post. Thats how the search works too I believe.

I tag my own discussions, but i don't always tag the ones I respond to, and the reason for that is, they should already be tagged by the one who started them. Some discussions are just to hard to figure out what to put as tags, so I just leave it go. I do think that tagging is important, as it does help when we do searches of finding it. I do try to tag as much as possible though, as it would help others to find the discussions they are looking for. Good luck to you and hapy mylotting.

Tags don't affect your points (at least I don't think so). It just gets more people seeing your discussion. If someone searches one of your tags on the search bar, they will find your thread.
