Legion is an upcoming Christian-themed fantasy-thriller film directed by Scott Stewart, written by Stewart and Peter Schink, and starring an ensemble cast headed by Paul Bettany. The film is set to be released on January 22, 2010. "After God loses faith in humanity, the archangel Michael (Paul Bettany) is the only one standing between mankind and the apocalypse. He leads a group of strangers who must protect a woman who is pregnant with Christ in his second coming." Another view on a possible apocalypse, from the religious point of view, the trailer of the movie looks promising, though it is rated as Mature, since there is heavy gore as well as the angels(monsters) who can easily give a grown man nightmares. How do you think this movie will be received? Positive, negative...complains from the Church and so on? I have a tingle of deja vu with this movie and Constantine.
