Things you wished you'd known when . . .

Thinking back over my university career, I realize that there are many things that I learned in my senior years that would have been enormously helpful, had I only known them sooner: That most profs don't care how long your paper is, as long as you answer the question completely. How to properly use the library catalogue to find stuff for my papers instead of wasting hours browsing the stacks. How write the papers that the profs wanted to read. Where all the best secret, quiet study spots were.
What do you wish you'd known when you started university/college?

Hey, thanks for that bit of advice. I'm starting college in about a month and it's scary just thinking about it. Just finished high school and here comes another four years in classrooms. Hope you're enjoying life after college.

College is way more fun than high school, even the classroom stuff. Anything in particular got you worried?
