I do make it a point to play online games once in a while. It helps to break the monotony in life. It gives you a fresher view or start in what you are doing. It is nice to be a kid once in a while in your life so as not to make things or see things very seriously.

I do indeed. When I am online waiting for next batch of work, or when I am bored and can't sleep I get online and play games. I am a word game person, and my son got me bookworm for Christmas last year. It is really addictive. I was without a computer for a bit and couldn't play Bookworm when I was bored and I was shocked how much I missed it!

You should like to take risks. By the way if your cpu cant take it. It wonk break down. The game will just not run. When you get a game you can read the system requirements and compare them with your computer before you try to play it if you are so afraid.

Of course.
What's wrong with playing games?
I play games as a distraction, if I'm tired / bored working on the computer.
Playing games makes me happy. Useless prohibit people play games, because it will be the burden of thought. Finally, the work will not be any focus.
Play games and work / learn is a 1 package. Which is not good, if over.
Indeed, over anything is not good.
Happy gaming...

yah! i love playing games on my computer though, not those that needs high end graphics yet. I'm afraid of getting addicted to them and of course besides my online jobs i also do have my full time job. I don't think playing games in your computer will destroy the system. you just need to make sure that you meet requirements for the games before you play them.

I really love to play games on my computer specially DoTA. There are also some cases wherein I love to play application games in facebook. They are interesting and enjoyable like Warzone Tower Defense. Are you familiar with it?

You better try playing application games in Facebook. It's really interesting and enjoyable.
By the way, DoTA is a map in Warcraft III - Frozen Throne wherein you select your own hero and need to destory enemy's frozen throne in order to win.

Yes, but not as much as I use too, I recently joined this site called winster.com its fun you get to chat with people and help each other earn points, but when I had a friend join which would have given me alot of points, I could not get on the site from home, I tried everything and nothing worked, I was pissed, my brother has the same lap-top so when I go to his house I play but its not the same, nothing like being able to play from the comfort of your home, I really don't get how that happened but oh well.
there are so many gaming sites, I use to play at worldplay, but they took that site away which really sucked that is where I met a lot of very nice people, we played spades/hearts/backgammon, you were rated so the fun was in trying to out do the other, so yes I play but not as often as I use too.

No I have not played call of duty but my grandson has it, I have played the game where you take peoples cars and beat them up, can't remember the name I am sure you know what I mean, now that was cool, but all these other games are just too much for me, I don't take the time to try to play, I will watch him sometime, but thats as far as I will go.I still like the old games, guess that is cause I am from the old school lol, oh but my brother he has been hooked on video games since he was a child and to this day he still plays, he plays this game I think it is play station 3 where you can play with people online hope I am saying it right, he comes home from work and go right to the game lol, he is so funny.

I don't wrong you. When i am playing computer games i usually get real addicted and even when i really want to sleep, I try my best to stay up. But because i no longer have a video game for myself, i haven't been that addicted for a while,. Can't tell when last i have been addicted like that though.

I also like to play games but only if I have enough time to do this! I love to sit down before my comp and play Heroes of Might and Magic (part 3 is my favourite). I need 8-10 hours to play so it's all the night and that's why I can play only when I can't go to work next day.

I do not know how playing a game on your computer will destroy it. Whether it is actually working or playing does not make any difference to the computer. Actually, I have been too busy to play games on my computer, but I do so from time to time, and would be interested in playing online games if I had more time. The advantage in playing online games sometimes is you can play with other people through your high-speed Internet in real-time.
I would be interested in hooking up my computer to my big screen TV. I think this would be a wonderful experience.

Of course i do. One of my fave pastime and i do it on my laptop. I'm learning really in mylot but i want confirmation on this one. Is it really true that games on a computer especially laptop can damage the system?

The only reason i would say it would damage the laptop worse than the computer is because the laptop is easier to to increase temperature than the computer as the fan is usually small but the high performance such as video card increase laptop temperature rapidly. Otherwise from that i dont see any other reason why a game will destroy a laptop. Unless you are talking keyboard damaged where laptop keyboard is harder to replace.
