Okay, what do you think. Will this work? Does this mean that McNab is on his way out this time? Will Eagles' fans accept him?For me being both a Redskins fan and a Giants fan and even a Steelers fan, I am okay with it. My Defenses will have fun getting to a rusty Vick. And I am glad it was just rumor that Vick was going to be a Steeler. So I am not upset about this move. How about you?

I am a Eagles fan and was shocked when I heard that the Eagles signed him. The Eagles were the last team I thought that would take a chance on him. I do not like Vick and think it was a bad decision but we have to live with it or in some cases some fans changed their favorite team. There were a lot of Eagles fans selling their game and some season tickets on Ebay when they found out about the signing. He got a good reaction from the crowd in his first preseason action which was a surprise and not a lot of protesting outside, though some. i expect we will see Vick in some trick plays and if McNabb gets hurt, maybe some starting time. Was hoping that Vick would go to the Cowboys or any other team.

I root for 6 teams ,4 I love ,love and the other two I just root for.If a player I don't like was brought in,I wouldn't change teams,I would just hope he gets traded. What 6 teams? The Giants,The Redskins, The Steelers, and The Jets, those are the 4 and the 2? Seattle and New Orleans.so the Vick signing was a good thing for me,at least this year.A rusty Vick is good for The Giants and The3 Redskins.

As a Packers fan, I honestly am glad Vick isn't with the Packers. There was that story that came out that the Packers were interested. It really worried me. I mean, even if he did sign, I would only want him to a backup running back. I think he could help out that way.

That's what I didn't want to happen.Vick is a QB that can run , not a running back. All the stuff he was into didn't magically make him a running back instead of a QB.That's the one thing I am happy about ,Vick is back as a QB.

At first, I thought he could have waited a year. But there are always going to be people who have a problem with him. I'm impressed that the Humane Society is backing him. He's just going to have to put up with some boos for awhile. But if he does very good , those will stop.

Philly fan is hard to woo but when they like you, they like you. i think as long as he gives it 110% on the field and behaves off field, Most Eagles fans will accept him.

i don't think mcnabb is on his way out with the signing of vick. if we were to believe the press conference that the eagles had, mcnabb was in the know that the eagles will sign vick and in fact he approved of the idea. although, i know vick hasn't played as a wr, i think he'll be utilized as such by the eagles offense. sort of soemone they can use durign trick plays and wr passign plays.vick isn't a to or a randle el type but he is close to these two players when he wants to be one. plus having an extra option to pass the ball to downfield is always a welcome addition to any quarter back and i'm sure mcnabb welcoems the addition of an athletic and explosive vick.
the onyl concern i have is the level of rust vick has. he won't be playing until after week 6 so there is time for him to get his rhythm back and learn the plays of the eagles offense. another concern will be the distractions that he might bring to the philly team what with all the brouhaha peta can and will put up at philly games.
otherwise , i think picking up vick is a good and sound management decision by philly. i'm actually looking forward seeign both vick and mcnabb playing in the field at the same time.
oh by the way, i'm a steeler's fan myself and hoepfully we get to return and win the superbowl again this year!!!
cheers!!!

Go Steelers! Wherever vick goes Peta will follow. But I think the one city where if they like you, they will have your back is Philly. When I first heard the news all I could think about is how if eagles fans can become Vick fans Peta shouldn't try to protest too much. These are the people who booed Santa Claus. The vet had a jail in it.

I really don't care that he signed with the Eagles, I'm just glad my New England Patriots did not sign him cause I would have been pissed lol. I actually am very surprised that he was able to sign with an NFL team, I didn't think any team in the league would take that risk. I watched the live press conference today and to tell you the truth I don't believe him. He didn't seem genuine. Every answer that he gave seemd so scripted I felt disgusted listening to him. Couldn't he come up with a few words of his own? I don't know listening to that press conference made me feel like the guy did not learn his lesson. This is a good deal for the Eagles because they only have him on a one year deal with the second being a team option, so if he doesn't work out they can cut him. McNab stays a starter and this deal does not affect him in my opinion. Why would you give the job to a guy who has not proven himself yet? So yeah doesn't make sense to me. Anyways I can't say I wish Michael Vick luck because what he did to those poor animals was so cruel that in my opinion he doesn't even deserve a chance to play in the league again but I hope that he learned his lesson.

I must be rare. I don't care if he learned his leson or not. I am just glad none of my teams signed him. I like all my QBs and I see vick as QB, not a running back. In fact that is the one thing I am glad about. Vick is being signed as a QB, period. ps. My teams are Giants, Redskins, Steelers, Jets,Saints, and Seahawks.

I bet this deal won't work out. With both of them on the same team... I predict that Vick will become the starter eventually throughout the year and possibly the future starter for the team. McNabb is still on the ropes and his contract is almost up.

Will this work? I don't know. Quite honestly, I'm glad he's not in Cleveland. Where I live, I would never hear the end of it and probably would get many questions about it. Personally, I wouldn't want him and I wouldn't feel about it.
I'm not sure if it means anything about McNabb not being the Quarterback. It's true he has yet to win the big game and by that I mean the Super Bowl even though he's been there once and the Eagles have every appearance but one and that was the one they had TO and challenged the Patriots in an attempt to win the Super Bowl. Vick is going to be rusty.
I don't know if the Eagles fan base will accept him. I can't speak for them because I'm not in the area and not an Eagles fan. I could care less and they don't play the Browns so we won't be going to the Dawg pound thankfully. I'd be curious on the Browns fan base though the sense I got was that it would be awkward.

I thought this was a good move for everyone in involved. I think that Andy Reed is a great coach, and he will be able to help Vick get back into football shape, and help him with this personal problems. I really thought that Vick did a good job at the press conference yesterday. I think this is a great thing.

I think it is a good move. He might be rusty but he is still athletic. He is not going to play quarterback right away. The fans will adjust as soon as he starts producing, they are quick to forget things. It will be fun to watch as they can line both Vick and Mcnabb up at the same time maybe with Vick as a wide out or tailback in Shotgun formation. It will give defenses a hard time just like Miami used the wildcat offense.

I like Vick being a Eagle, now McNab might not like it. But man I don't even think he is going to be the guy for them. He is just getting to old, he's bald now. What's the next to go? Mike Vick will give them that extra flare that they need right now. I just can't wait to see him paly today. If any thing happens it will be Vick running all over that field. This is going to be great. Welcome back Vick.
