Which side of the bed do you sleep on? The left or the right?
I always have to sleep on the left hand side of the bed, no matter what bed it is or where we are, i just dont feel as comfy on the right hand side. Id prefer to lay right in the middle across the bed but with my partner and my daughter its never going to happen
I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that i am left handed?

For me it really doesn't matter which side I sleep on. When I'm in a full bed by myself I just tend to sleep farthest away from the wall unless I'm with someone that is adament about not sleeping next to the wall and also I'm use to sleeping on a couch when I'm home from school so it doesn't make much difference to me.

LOL! We do have a lot in common on this one. I am not left handed, however I always sleep on the left side of the bed or shall I say halfway between the middle and the left side. My boyfriend has gone so far as to wake me in the middle of the night and ask me to get out from under him as during his sleep he rolls and faces the outside of the bed and I apparently go past that center point of the bed. Have a great evening.

Mine does that too, i always seem to roll over onto his side. He has been known to get out of the bed and walk around to my side and get in

I sleep on the left side of the bed and I am right handed, too. :)
Mind you, it's also the side that is closest to the wall and one of my idiosyncrasies is that I must sleep on the side of the bed closest to the exterior wall.

I sleep to the left of my husband. I am on the side of the bed that is closest to the door and he likes to sleep close to the wall. We both sleep on our left sides for the most part, so lying this way enables him to easily put his arms around me and we are both nice and cozy.

Hi polo, to me there is no different to sleep on either side of the bed. I could sleep on the middle part of it as well. I feel relaxed to sleep on the master bed alone. It’s so comfortable that I own a double bed. but I could enjoy sleeping on either side or any part of the bed occasionally only.
Yeah, when my husband is at home, I always have to sleep on his left side. I don’t think this is due to the right or left handed of a person, for both of us are right handed. My husband is just accustomed to sleep on my right side. He says he would fall asleep easily by sleeping on that position
Happy posting

i've never thought about this before but since now you've mentioned it, i've realized that i've almost always slept at the right side of the bed... i guess i feel more comfortable and secured at my spot if compared to the other side... by the way, i'm right-handed... could it be just coincidence or should there be a query made on the topic?!..hehehe

In Vedic science, you have to sleep east-west means to east side your head and west side leg. Because east having pious spiritual powers which you will get abudently. and you can sleep sound. You never sleep keeping your head towards North. But you can keep leg in north and sleep south north. In Vaastushastra said that bread-earner of family should sleep in west corner of house. Now if you had food and want to digest better then you sleepleft side so solar energy will flow in body. and there is hot weather then you sleep right side then lunar energy will flow in body. So this is science follow it and take benefit.

I don't believe that it has to do with you being left-handed because I also HAVE to sleep on the left side of the bed, and I toss and turn all night if I sleep on the opposite side lol, which is kinda funny. My husband is always trying to steal my side of the bed and I shove him over and he just growls at me lol, it's pretty funny.

most of the times i do sleep on right side of the bed as i feel comfortable on that. well never thought about sleeping on the left side but will try today. Well in summers i generally sleep in the middle as to give more relaxation to the body by spreading it apart. May be its a case that you are left handed so you sleep on the same side.

I did not pay attention to this point. Which side goes to sleep, now husband, and in general I have left her hunband to sleep, I sleep right. Is there any kind of argument is: the left side of men, the right woman.
Haha, this question is very interesting night, people will stand up and find their own best position to sleep. How how to sleep comfortably.

I always take up all of the bed, sprall myself diagonally across the bed. I think it is because I like my own space, but i get claustrphobic easily. All that space you can't beat it!! However, my cats sometimes sleep at the bottom of my bed and take up a lot of space!

I am just about always sprawled out in the middle. Or wherever my 2 cats AREN'T, I usually am. I have two cats - one is chubbier and therefore takes up a little more space, and the other one lays sprawled out. They're both adorable && look so peaceful that I don't want to have to move them!! So I usually just try to sleep around them. lol.

If I'm sleeping with someone I usually sleep on the right hand side. If I'm sleeping alone its usually in the middle of the bed. I have even been known to sleep at the bottom of the bed.

That's the first I've heard of someone sleeping at the bottom of the bed. :) I might try that sometime, just for the fun of it.

The bottom?
How do you make that one work, do you lay across it or just sleep at the opposite end with your feet pointing towards the head of the bed?

I used to sleep on the right side of the bed because it´s the side nearest to the door. The other side was my husband´s. When he passed away, I changed my side of the bed. I did not want to share "his" side with anyone, not even my grandchildren.
Customs are difficult to change. I still sleep in half of the bed

Hmm, I do wonder if it has something to do with the fact that you are left-handed because I too am left-handed and I always have to sleep on the left hand side of the bed. I've slept on that side of the bed for as long as I've had a full sized or queen sized bed. Even before I had a partner in the bed with me I've always slept on that one side of the bed.
What a great thing to think about though.
