Do any of you use T Mobile as your cell phone provider and if so how do you like them?
I just signed up with them and we recieved our phones today but unfortunately nothing works right and they gave us miami phone numbers when we live in raleigh so not such a great start but the customer service people were all so friendly and anxious to actually help so I am wondering if it is just a fluke that it arrived all messed up or is that a sign of things to come...
I am trying to decide wether to send everything back before the grace period is up or not so if anyone has experience with t mobile and wants to tell me about it please feel free!
Thanks

I had them,I was on the flex pay plan. All in all they were ok but in your case with that big of mistakes I am not so sure. Miami numbers are just not going to work where you are that's for sure.

I looked at that flex pay thing....I liked it it looked like a good plan....cant remember exactly why i didnt go for that but i think it had something to do with getting internet service but as it turned out they had to be ordered completely separately anyway....
Im not sure why they gave us miami numbers but i know i have tried looking things up by my zip code before and there are always problems....we live in a tiny little town and the zip code doesnt register for some reason but still i told him my address in NC so youd think he would have at least given me a NC area code....anyway when i called them they changed the numbers for me to 919 our area code but then i tried calling the number from a friends cell phone to see if it worked and it did except i had to dial 1 + 919 + the number...and when i called customer service they were confused....I understand that if some one calls it using the 1 from within this area code it wont be long distance but the problem is this is the phone my husband will be using for work and try telling the contractors they have to dial 1 + area code when they call him....they wont do it and he will lose a lot of work....but i think that got fixed too cause i tried it from a pay phone and didnt have to dial the 1
so i will just try it from a few more phones tomorrow....
I hope it works itself out cause i have been nuts without my internet last couple months....

I had t-mobile for several years, before I changed to verizon, and I like them much better. I never did have any problems with the cell phones from t-mobile. You might have to send the phones back since they don't work, or maybe if you have a kiosk in the mall, you might be able to take them back there. You can only ask. It really seems weird that the phones don't work. You sure can't use your phones anyway, when they gave you numbers for a different area. It sounds like it is messed up all the way around. I left t-mobile because I didn't like the fact I got dropped calls. I don't get that with verizon. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I've had T-Mobile for sometime now & I like it... In all fairness, I've had few different service providers through out 20 years & I've had dropped calls with all of them... Around where I live & places I go because of my work, my phone has always worked, ok with few dropped calls here & there but like I mentioned, I've had dropped calls with all the service providers... All in all, I think T-Mobile is a decent company...
