My best job is the one I have now. I work at a printing and mailing company as a Billing Receptionist. I love the people I work with. As a matter of fact when I went to Atlanta last month one of my co-workers let me park my car at her house instead of paying to park my car at the airport. I feel like I am working with my family. I have been there for 10 months and I know that this job is one that I will be able to stay in.
What was your favorite job and why? Was it the people, the pay, the benefits, or were you doing what made you the happiest?

my fav job would have been my first job when i left school. i was working at a top horse stud, worked my way through the ranks and you could say was stud groom cause i did everything. low pay, and 6 days a week. but when you see a horse go from being broken in to selling it, it gives you a real pleasure. i also really enjoy where i work now, i've been here for 5yrs all up and makes you wonder why you milk cows at times, but it's not bad and i have a great boss and work mate so i'm happy.

I love horses! I guess it must have been like raising a child and sending it off to college huh? It's always the uncommon jobs that seem to make people the happiest!

The best job I ever had was in a environmental organization. I was doing community work in the rural areas and there were 6 of us for different areas but we get to go to each other areas as well. The pay was minimum but with field and transportation allowances and the time is not that hectic because it was project based. I need to send reports once a month only. And there were lots of seminars for staff development. And helping to save the environment and helping people help themselves and helping the staff develop ones self esteem and professional self as well are great. I was with the organization 7 years before the project was turned over to the people.

I love environmental jobs. It brings out the humanity in people. I almost took a job with my local clean water action group but it was at nights when i couldn't get babysitting for the kids.
