So I have just ruined a nice digital camera. She was my baby! I won't go into details about it but it is ruined and now I will need to buy a new one as the only other camera I have is a low end point and shoot with lots of noise.
Have you ever ruined something that was expensive or that you just bought?

I am very sorry to hear the bad news. I suggest you turn to others to see if repair work is possible before you buy a new one. Maybe next time you'll be more careful to use your things, it is not so bad, anyway.

Yes I am always very careful with my things. This is the fourth digital camera that I have owned and have never even so much as nicked my cameras before this. It was definitely an accident and one that I normally would never make. But today just hasn't been my day and this just made it so much worse.

oh man
you must be feeling pretty guilty right now, coz a new digital camera is something many of us adore, it's sad to hear that about your camera, i can not imagine how i would feel if i had done that to mine, i would probably go mad on myself the whole day i guess, luckily i haven't destroyed anything adorable lately, i really go crazy when something like that happens, i don't know i just become very angry as if there is no other similar item available in the market!

Yes, its been a not so great day and this just was the icing on the cake. I am very mad and upset at myself and will likely be for a long while. It's not something that is easily replaced and I am not usually very careful with my cameras and nice things. I can't believe I broke it. :(

That is my biggest fear with iPods and MP# players - they are so small, and I don't have the mindfulness to leave it in just one place so I can find it again. And sure enough, I did buy one for less than $50 and lost it in two months.
So I just have a radio, much bigger that fits on my belt. May not be as "cool" but I am over fifty years old, not some junior high school student looking to be cool to his peers.
I hear cell phones dropping on the floor all the time when I'm out in public. I hear stories of them falling into toilets. I imagine that doesn't exactly clean them.
(especially if you used the toilet before it fell in)
Too bad they can't design a net to hang at the opening that allows waste material to go through but not cameras or cell phones.
Can't do it for MP# players or iPods though, they make them too small. Maybe if they were designed like earrings attached to your pierced ears ...

Never, I am very careful with my things. I give away things but never spoil them.
