Do you parents teach you to honor you forefather?

In our Village, our parents usually put a little meal on the plate and place it on the special place to honnor forefather. After placing, they knock the glass next to the plate and say, "let's have dinner or lunch". Before drinking palm wine, someone will pour a little on the special stone and say, "let's have a drink." This habit passed on from generation to other. How about in your country?

This idea sounds great.Thinking of your fore fathers always is a nice idea.I am from India and we don't practice anything like that.But once in a year on their remembrance day,we place all the favorite items in front of the photos and worship them.Then it is repeated again the next year only.Cheers!
