Isn’t it weird or just too fast? The user hasn’t even made it to 100th post yet. Last night he is on his 50th post when I logged out and now when I opened my email to comment back on one his responses he is gone.
We just became friends last night. At first I thought only his response was deleted and so I try to respond on his discussion via my email. But when I clicked it, the discussion was deleted already. I went to my friends list and checked on the user. There is still a profile but there was no activity recorded at all but I knew he participated. If the account was already deleted, I feel sorry for the guy. He just became a member 3 days ago. He hasn't even experienced the joy of mylot and now he has no chance of doing so. Tsk, tsk, tsk...
I am wondering, what could be the violation that could make mylot delete an account so fast?

well, i guess this person has violated ceratin norms of myLot and thus has been suspended for the same. in case of suspension the person will get back to myLot withoin 3 months or so.
anyway, violating norms is punishable here.. so beware , everybody..

Hi, abanerji. I am also interested to know and would like to clarify regarding the comeback. Assuming that person is banned, can he still get back after three months? Is this possible. What if he or she will sign up with another username... Well, I hope you can clarify considering that this will give those that are banned a chance to join here again. I do hope that they will not do the same things here so as not to be banned again.

I kept telling this new people, i have been sparked by the Gods, to spread the mylot Commandments! however, it seems that only a few oldies had to come in terms to reading that discussion, if you can't view his profile, that means it's gone. i got suspended but i was also deleted. he should just create a new account again. No body reads the commandments, i keep telling people that if they don't like reading the mylot faq.
Have a great day...god bless him...

Hi there iskayz!
This is happening so often of late. It seems that many violations which we as users are unaware of are taking place We can see spammers and plagiarists but we cannot see other things like underage users or those who have more than one account or those who come back as 'new' after being banned for some other serious mistake. I lost one from my list too this week.
If myLot had reason to remove the user then we can rest assured they are taking care of us and, as the response above said, they are many, MANY other Lotters much more worthy of your friendship
Take care my friend. Ciaouzzzz!

Oh hi madam di! Suddenly I felt, proud of being friendly to others hehe.. I cherish all my friends here and they will remain my friends as long mylot is here.
But yes, it seems mylot has let passed a lot of violators already but rest assured, they are keeping an eye on everyone here so everyone should be very careful not to make mistakes.
If someone who have been banned before and chose to come back, is it considered a violation?

You should definately feel proud to be as friendly as you are!
It is not YOUR fault if others make mistakes.
Many users are on their second (or more) accounts here after being banned for minor violations. I doubt that some users who were banned would be allowed back though even if they apparently were trying to behave. I can remember when I used to be in chatrooms many years ago. Those users who misbehaved in PMs there were considered dangerous and banned each time they returned. Sane with others who return and the first thing they say is 'I'm new' A great way to blend into the myLot family - NOT!

Hehehe if I were banned and had come back I will not post "Hi I'm new". I would feel guilty saying that, knowing what's the truth.
Since a lot of account has been deleted already I think mylot is becoming stricter in implementing their rules. It's kinda scary to post now hehe

Maybe he has been a constant violator who have used and opened many accounts before already. Maybe there is a major violation in his postings, read the FAQ for it. Maybe, he has been constantly warned about the violations but ignored it.

It's all here:
http://www.mylot.com/o/mylot.aspx
Continually violating the Terms and/or Guidelines leads to deletion of account.

Well yogesh, you should have read the mylot guidelines before you signed up. It's better to read the rules or TOS first before joining on a particular site. It's a good habit, it saves you the trouble someday. AWARENESS is an important matter. So, read, learn and practice them well!
Good luck!

Indeed they are strict but it is better for all of us to know that myLot are keeping them strict for us. That way myLot will still be the great site it is even in many years from now!

Surely such type of action does not belong here. I have seen some of it too but they never stay for good. They are usually removed from mylot. Great work on the admin. If I may add up, great work for the members too. They usually report this things to admin.

Right on MysDi, I was just thinking if this was the guy who copy pasted 10 topics from another Social Network site. And he posted it on Mylot (Word for Word) even the topic itself, he did not even changed. I warned him not to do it, he never stopped, he still continued to paste more topics, so he got banned now.
I will be saying Good job for Mylot for keeping the quality of the site. And saying no to plagiarizers.

That's sad, but of course mylot always has reasons for banning or suspending a member and the very reason is because of violations. Or maybe, he did not enjoy his first days here so he opted to leave.
It's good to be here again. Good evening my friend.

Well, considering that his profile is still there, there is a great possibility that he is still a member of mylot. It could be that the person is just busy and is not able to go online to reply and post discussions. Perhaps try to wait a little while until he crops up again.

Well, I do hope that he will have a chance to come up again and participate in the discussion. If ever he was suspended, perhaps he can request admin for a reconsideration. I guess you will have to go on with the discussions without him. You have a lot of friends here and have I have just added you. Best to you and hope to respond to more of your post.

Hi jpso! Yes he is still a member of mylot cause he still has a profile but he could be suspended for, well I don't know for how long.
Its possible for him that he just busy and can't participate but the fact is you cannot view any of his post or the responses anymore. Meaning they have all been deleted.
Hope he gets the chance to get out from suspension soon.

Hi,
Hey that is weird, never heard of this one before.
Well what could have happened is, he must have opened the account only to get leads of basically market something which is def against mylot rules.
Or else he must have deleted his account himself. Well if he is interested sure enough he shall get in touch with you.
Cheers

That user might be violating some terms and conditions of Mylot that is why he might have been suspended. Mylot technical glitch might also be a cause or the user had something which is not acceptable. It is something which only Mylot can answer..

Well I guess you are right.. All these queries why our fellow lotter and my friend suddenly got deleted or banned or just suspended, only mylot have the answer. But I wouldn't wanna contact the staffs and bother them about it. I should be minding my own business hehe

It is sad that something would happen like this but before assuming it is best to find out if there is a clinch in the system. I hope you will find the answer you are looking for.

He was naughty! LOL
There are tons of newer Mylot users that keep posting their referral links in discussions over and over again, even though it is a strict TOS no-no. Perhaps that user just received too many complaints or negative feedback on his responses, so Mylot banned him.
Anything is possible.
XOXO

Hmmmm, I wonder if he was the one who keeps on copy pasting the topic from different social network site and then he posted those topics here WORD for Word. And that is simply Plagiarizing and is not allowed here on Mylot.
Probably now he knows his lesson well by simply following the rules set by Mylot. I just can't think why people steal other peoples topics just to gain some cent where in the end they would still be caught red handed by the Admin or some members that will report him.
Mylot will not simply delete an account of a member if it was nothing serious. It has never been bias to anyone. So anyway, I wonder if that friend of yours ask you to find out why his account got banned or deleted, thinking he can still try his schemes here. Just a curiosity of how you got so concerned about the guy. Anyway, Happy Mylotting.

Hi strawberry! Well I'm not really concerned about the guy. I mean it's nothing too serious. It was just kinda weird that he got deleted so fast, that's all. I'm sure everyone too would like to have an idea how mylot deletes violators so this post is sort of a warning also to everyone who tries to violate the rules.
I don't know if he is the same person you and I have in mind. He only responded to my post and that's when we became friends and that was just last night. I never get the chance to respond to his post cause they were already deleted when I tried to respond via email. If he really copied discussions from other sites, well no doubt, he should be deleted.

hi iskayz probably he violated the do not post copies and call
them yours rule or some other similar rule but if his profile is still there his account is still vAlid. He probably just had
a discussion deleted for breaking some rule. he probably did like
so many new users do,he just didnt really read the rules. and they
are not that hard to read. I dont think that mylot deletes and
account unless the mylotter had done something really mean.

Interesting. I suppose there is always the possibility that he created a duplicate account ??? Not sure what would be the purpose of that, but some people do weird things for unexplicable reasons.
