I often wonder why our mother's food is always the best food we ever tasted in our lifetime. It took me awhile why mom's ways of cooking always tasted nice. Only now that im a mother realised why mom"s food is always the best...because of this only one secret recipe of cooking....called "LOVE"!
Happy cooking to all the moms out there!

LMAOOOOO, I love this, I agree never thought about it like this, if only you can explain that to my daughter, I know what I cook taste good, but my daughter never wants to try anything new, she always wants to eat the same thing over/over/, I said you should appreciate the TLC I put into the meals I prepare for you, I know people that cook and it is just that cook, no love behind it or no nothing, yes my moms cooking is simply the best in my book, now I realize exactly one of the main reasons that is.I never thought to put into these words, but I always felt people should cook with TLC (tender loving care) what a great post, I love it, thank you so much for sharing this thought with us.

So true, my sister cook, she put the food on, walks away from it, do not return until it is done, I shake my head how sad is that, and I really think she actually likes too cook, some people just don't have it, she most certainly do not have what it takes.

For the most part, my mom's a HORRIBLE cook - and she knows it! I was so glad when I was old enough to cook and things started tasting good - I think she was too!

That does bring to mind the fact that she can sew ANYTHING... She made a lot of our clothes while we were growing up and made extra money by doing bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. She's AWESOME with a sewing machine!

Right, mothers try to cook with that extra ingredient of love into the food. I am the chef in the house and I make sure that everything is done with the one thing in mind, for the love of my children, I do anything to fill them with love including food.

Welcome to MYLOT. Some Moms food are the best. The caring Moms food will be so good that one doesn't want to leave the dining room table. On the other hand you have some mothers food that you don't even want to smell it muchless to have it traveling down your body.

O.K. Go ahead! Have fun. Remember if we, the 'poor' cooks were not there you all would not be recognizable at all! It would been then the boring kind. We Provide the standard and you just float on that. You sound just like my sons when I cook because I want to give my wife a rest. No appreciation at all!! boohoo!

I agree but really my mom was a good cook even without relying to any recipe book. She cooks so well that you would request it for next week menu. She concocts perfectly the sauces, marinades and soups. I've learned to be a good cook, too because whenever she cooks, i observe, ask and help.

I absolutely agree that mom's cooked food is the best in the world. The amount of affection and love that go inthe cooking makes it all the more delicious .And to be served by her is enough to make it most superb and excellent .I am sure the motherless child will miss the best in life .We have to thank the Almighty for blessing us with our mother.

Want to hear something bad?
My mom isn't a very good cook. She's okay, she just seems to be scared of using spices. I'm actually the best cook in my house.

She is very lucky mom to have u. The touch of love in cooking makes it something different...and most moms have their own specialty in cooking that you'll always look for...does not need to be fantastic.
