Care to share your tip in using firefox efficiently.

A lot of us here probably uses Firefox, can you share any tip that may help our fellow myLotters do more things efficiently. Maybe a shortcut key, your favorite addon or your regular Firefox maintenance.
I'll start with the white star on the right within the address bar. Clicking it bookmark the current tab and it will be placed in the bookmarks menu within Recently Bookmark folder. Clicking it again allow you to add additional info about the site, you may rename it, add tag for quick access, move the bookmark to a different location or delete it completely.
Can you contribute more?

Before, long time I using Internet Explorer (IE) and never use another browser. But 4 months ago, I try using chrome, opera and firefox. And woww,I love it to use firefox right now. has tab too and more fast than IE7. But, when I want to launch firefox for the first time (after I turn on my computer), it take long time than IE but after that, there's no problem .. everything back normal and fast

Hi there Anasutio!
That startup speed is really a let down, IE8 and Chrome leave Firefox in the dust in that aspect. Version 3.5.2 has improve compared to pre 3.5 but the coming 3.6alpha1 beta is blindingly fast hope it will remain that way until it officially release.
Another thing that I observe is when I'm using it over time like say 2 hours or more, pages load sluggishly. What I do in this situation is close it, give it some time to clear entirely in memory and then restart firefox. This always rejuvenate my browsing speed.

Great blog Klwheretogo, is this yours? Though I have used that speed enhancement tweaks in the earlier version of firefox and it works, I have never applied it yet to my most recent version. I have read sometime ago that it is not necessary anymore with the version that time. what is your say with this?

I've been an avid user of Firefox for quite some time, bro.. but lately, after downloading the 3.5 browser for Firefox, I'm having some glitches on Facebook game, especially Mafia Wars.
But I don't know whether it's inter-related or perhaps it's within Facebook itself. But I tried using Internet Explorer and the problem seems to be alright; but only for awhile, and then it'll be the same again.
I love all the tabs opening for mylot. I have Opera browser too, but not liking it so much because I'm just so used to Firefox, ha..

I must admit that although I have Firefox installed on my computer I still continue to use Internet Explorer most of the time... I would be interested to learn more about the benefits of Firefox in addition to the fact that it tends to have less hackers after it.

i have to say i like to use the older 2 series of firefox, i don't really like the 3 series, when the 3 series first came out it had issues with slow loading of images and all, after that i have never like firefox 3 series
... i like to stick on with the older 2 series, and i have added some add ons according to my needs, i regularly need to change my proxy address so i have installed switchproxy and it is my favourite add on coz it's the most important one i need, don't like to go to options and change the address each time, it's so irritating!
and sometimes i use the autoreload add on to help refresh the current page at the time intervals you are comfortable with, this helps me with the things on the webpage that regularly keeps updating like a sports scores and all and also helpful while downloading something from rapidshare, coz i have to refresh all the time to know when i get a free slot, this addon has helped me download so many things from rapidshare and i adore this auto refreshing add on.... rest all there is nothing much really special i have put in my firefox, have a nice day ferdz
