People in US have many sites that pay. They can earn for writing at sites like AC, Triond, Helium and eHOW. I believe there are many more such legit sites and if anyone in US wish to share those sites here, please do. However, people in Asia are not so lucky. I have yet to hear of paying sites for written works in Asia. If any of you that knows of legit paying sites for Asians, please share here for fellow friends.

Well, I've written about 5 articles and each day, they get about 10 hits, which is really bad, but I still manage to earn about a dollar a month from them. And that's after I haven't written there for over a year. Now, I'm going to write about 2 articles a day, and I can hope to earn a lot more. For anyone who is not a member, I definitely recommend Triond. They have never failed to pay me a single time, and they always pay when they say the will. Good luck everyone, and I really hope you all can make a lot more on Triond than I currently do.

When you have signed up you can immediately write articles ( even content you've already posted on other sites as long it's clear it's yours). You can also submit videos, presentations and audio files.
You'll get approximately 3.80 per 1000 visitors. Which is very high considering that associated content pays like 1.80 or something. They pay via paypal and it takes a month before you receive your money, if you receive it.
Bukisa is a popular site for blackhatters who send bogus traffic to bukisa. If I am right articles have to have 250 characters so you can write short articles.
I hope it's the info you're looking for. Some say they are scam others say they are not. In two or three weeks I expect to receive my money. Btw, they are based in Israel... I've got no clue what it means as to legal issues though...

I forgot to say that minimum payout is set at 10 dollars. Which means you need somewhere between 2500 and 3000 visitors to your articles. It's not too hard to reach that when you use some tricks freely available on the web ( and therefore I am not going to share it with you :P)

Triond still welcomes international members as well as Asians. Work-online is also a writing site that welcomes international members.

And to make the matter worse, they are even banning Asians to sign up. Well, bad reputation they say. But how about those who have got talents, skills and honesty?!
I dont know. I am an Asian, and I am earning through Review Stream, Odesk, Adgitize and a lot more on my blog.
