Hi mylot friends,
Recently, i love doing online shopping. I found that it is very convenient. I am a person who does not like shopping. For me, it is very tiring and hardly find a satisfied item. Besides, going out for shopping is also not convenient for me as we do not have our own transportation. I also do not want to carry so much things on the public transportations with my baby.
Before this, i have never tried online shopping until last year when i was pregnant. During the pregnancy, i gained a lot of weight...and i hardly found myself a suitable maternity clothes from the store. Therefore, i came accross to the online store. The first experience was great. Easy and save costs.
After my baby was born, i also searched the baby products and books online. I also searched for the second hand baby books. The used books conditions are great. They are not that bad.
I just love online shopping now. I do not need to walk and walk and finally still cannot find any items that i want. Online shopping makes my life easier. Another reason of this is also because the current situation (H1N1 and hazy weather). It's better not to go to the crowded area with my baby.
So what about you, mylot friends? Do you do online shopping? Normally which items do you buy online?
Have a nice day and happy mylotting!

I buy my dogs' chew sticks called Bully Sticks online since the price is outrageous at the local pet stores. I save a lot of money that way! I also am considering buying some clothing online because my local stores have the ugliest stuff this year! I have bought other things online in the past and I really like it.
Sometimes I want to get out and go somewhere, browse around a store, but most of the time it is a chore. I'm not a shopper, I'm a buyer--I know what I want and just want to get it and get out of the store most of the time.
When I had my babies they were 364 days apart so going anywhere was a huge undertaking. Even with just my first one it was a job so I understand why you wouldn't want to shop a lot. And children hate shopping, when your baby is older and walking you'll have quite a time keeping him entertained while you shop--I hope you won't yell and scream and hit him like so many moms do, shopping is torture for a normal, energetic child. So online shopping is great!

I do online shopping, most of the time I shopped for clothes. But I love going to the mall to stroll and look for nice things especially clothes, shoes and bags. For this month I've ordered 5 clothes from site where they are allowing business. It's really convenient and not too tiring than going to the mall and your order will be right at your doorstep. Right now I dont have time to go to the mall to shop so I rely most of the time to online shopping. And I find cheaper, and online shops has and not at the mall. Well, nowadays I went to the mall when they have mall wide sale or my favorite clothing store is on sale. Because now, the prices are too high and the quality is too low and only the brand name is the onky thing money buys.

This is a hard question for me to answer. I PREFER shopping online but I do not enjoy shopping in general. I agree that online shopping is definitely more convenient, just so much better than having to travel to stores, and be in crowds of shoppers and waiting to check out, etc. Nothing compares to online shopping for that! I buy ALL my books online and most of my clothes and my child's clothes online these days! Just a lot better experience for me as well.

Hello Lulu.
I hope your baby is okay now that he grown a bit since you started this topic :)
I do online shopping but for things like dvd's from amazon. I also bought once from ebay, a Christmas toy truck for my girlfriend produced by Coca Cola, like the ones in the commercial :)
Using online shopping when having a baby and no car can become a good alternative, but in my case, at the moment at least, i have a hypermarkets nearby, at less than 10 minutes in some cases, so it would only cost me more to buy them online.

I don't do much online shopping though recently. I just can't afford to be scammed once more, unless it is necessary, and it is in emergency. Otherwise, I rather drive to the store, and look at those items and pick the one I think it is good. I would do less online shopping because it might not be secure. Usually you have pay your credit card online too.

I love to do my shopping online too if possible. I always look for the free shipping too. My favorite place to shop at is Amazon.com. They have really good deals and free shipping also. We live far from stores so it is easier to place an order online and stay home and get it.

You bet your bippy I do!! I order books all the time from Amazon.com and my vitamins too. I have become addicted to HSN and QVC. I ordered a beautiful tie dyed dress from Ebay recently. And order from the department stores from time to time. Also order from a certain toy store for my grandson as well. You have a nice day and how is that little bundle of joy you have there? Take care, dearie.

I will buy gifts, books, and clothing. It is a lot easier for me, saves on gas money, and many times the deals I find are very good deals. You can find most things cheaper online than you can in the store. It is great and convienient! Happy mylotting!

Online shopping is one of the way of convenience, choice and sit at home joy of shopping ya.. we could be able to reach out all over the world with good bargains if we are able to search, and a source for the best deals..
I have been doing online shopping since my baby girl birth, as I find it difficult to bring her out at times.. for those baby stuff, most of them I got it online.. even baby clothings! The deals are somehow cheaper compared to the market value, and I can even have it delivered to my house for free if I buy a certain amount.
And I recently bought some cloth diaper which is about 50% cheaper compare to the market price.. I was really happy for this deal.. I will continue to do more online shopping, and for you, Happy MyLotting :)

I don't like online shopping. Maybe it would look very very attractive online, and once it mails or ships to your house, it is nothing like you have thought it would have been. Then you have to go through all this shipping back and a lot of time is wasted. Even with shoes, you think this shoe is a perfect fit but you realized you are really a size 11 in nikes and a size 10 in vans somehow, and you ordered a size 11 in vans and it is really really big on your feet. It would be a real pain in the butt! (Trust me, I ordered size 11 Blazers and I'm really size 9 ...) and this can go on and on and on. But some online shopping can surprise you because you can find coupons or codes for discounts for online purchase. And another thing about online shopping. SHIPPING is a pain in the .... 6 bucks to ship to your house and 37 for your favorite pair of levi's jeans. While taking a bit of your gas, go to your local mall and find the jeans. I could go on and on with reasons why I don't like online shopping but I'll stop here and I hope you can understand and agree with me.

I usually buy things online during Christmas to avoid the rush and all the nerve-racking activity of shopping for the best gifts. It gives me time to choose what I would really like to buy. Though I make it to a point that I am careful to check the feedback to make sure that I will not be scammed.
Last year, I had requested for a personalized watch/ charm bracelet for all my family members. I thought it would be nice to have give individuality to my gifts. My sister likes blue, so I had chosen all the blue charms. It makes it easier if the terms and conditions are defined as well.
Some of my favorite sites are eBay and Multiply.

I do online shopping for things that I cannot buy in the mall or in our area. Most of my online shopping are on books and items that I need for my training. This also includes equipment that I used as I conduct safety and emergency care programs. Other than that, I shop offline. I love to visit malls and see the items I like to buy before buying them.

I haven't experience yet but my dad use to buy things specially his books and DVDs online. He was such a book worm ,so he does these things. He also do study online and benefit from it since he will not go to school for his Masters degree but to only study online and it's worth it.
I am hoping to do my own boutique and I will make sure that my online friends would be ordering from me since I love fashion, beauty products and health products too. I will post here on Mylot if my boutique will be ready online. Happy Mylotting.

For items like apparel, electrical appliances and food, I would prefer to shop them in the real world. It's easier for me to try and compare them before purchasing. Besides, the images in pictures may not really show how the item really look like. But if I need to buy them and may not be able to find around, I'll visit an online shop.

Normally I do not like shopping online. For me I have to feel and touch the thing that I am buying. But some stuff which I do not need to check before buying I buy online, like train tickets and all. But you are true in saying that in current scenario, with this H1N1 virus, it is better to stay away from crowded places. So online shopping comes in handy in these kind of scenarios.
