It is the opposite, my mom loved to see friends visit the house. She is even excited and always prepare some snacks. my friend never really stay longer in my house except for parties which almost all relatives and friends are invited. The more the merrier. My mom have beliefs if nobody visit your house, it means the owner of the house is unfriendly. And she never yell in front of others as my mom teach religion and like to live as a good examples to her children..Yelling where it is hear by your friend is really a shameful things to do, especialy when your friend are not a trouble maker type of person he may surprise to hear yelling even if your mom yell at you..it is a sign that your mom do not like your friends..just hearing a yell is enough to drive any friend away to your house..

Nice to see that your mom likes your friends so much.I don't think my mom hates my friends. The problem is that she doesn't like any sort of gathering in our house.

Till date my parents never yelled at me for bringing friends home...I am thankful to them for that...They always behave well with my friends and treat them nicely..I too feel good and things become easier for me..I hope this may continue forever in my life....

My mom never yelled about bringing friends to the house, and when my children were still living at home i never got irritated when they had friends over, it made me happy because i knew where they were at, and what they were doing. I did not have to worry about what they were up to.

My parents never shouted in front of my friends but sometimes, after my friends have gone home, they scold me. That is not because they feel irritated, but they do not like that I chat with friends all the time and do not study at all.. If your mother shouts at you in front of your friends, then that it embarrassing. I never been treated that hostile but I am sure if you talk to your parents and make them understand your situation, I am sure they will take a more reserved approach.best of luck.

Well it depends on the type of friends. Few of my friends are extreme mischievious and my parents feel they are not well disciplined to behave in right way at a new place.
