Who among you travelled already in Hong Kong

My gf and I will go to Hong Kong maybe next month and that will be our first time on that place? What places can we go that we really really enjoy aside from Disney Tours? Thanks in advance.

Hi extendcradle :)
I have been to Hongkong last summer
it was really good to go and to experience
the chines life out there between them
you can try Disney , ocean park
, going to the peak in the city of Hongkong
coz we were in colon area so it takes minutes
by care but about other things
we were using the underground
a lot were all the chines nation walking there
hahaha it was so scary coz they are many
and they look the same hahaha
ask anything and I might know the answer

it was the best of them plus the malls there
are good though

well ya all of the shops there are little
expensive but it was ok with us!!
you would find place called night bazar or
night market it has cool cheep stuff
I liked the small shops there in lines
wish you good trip there
and ya don't spend to much money
on things coz you wouldn't need them
believe me

What is the cheapest shopping area near the Disneyland? Because our hotel is located near that place. I'm with my GF so I think bringing her into an expensive mall is a nightmare for me. lol

Yah I was there last 3 years ago, I visited some beautiful sneceries out there like the peak, the saint joseph church, I traveled also going to china buy train, I enjoyed a lot of going out there, the weather is good not so cold and not so hot when i was there.
I am very grateful that I traveled with the my best friends expense because they are residing there, so i don't have problem in what hotel would i need to stay because i stayed in their house the whole 14 days vacation.
Great experience indeed, I will never forget it.

Wow that was nice. At what month did you went there? Actually I have a cheap hotel that I booked at. Maybe I don't need an extravagant hotel since most of my time will be spend outside.

I would avoid going to HongKong Disney, there is not much fun there,and I would recommend you to go to Japanese Disney, would be a desirable place. Besides it, in HongKong, you can go to Sea World, if you want to see theme park. If you want to go to shopping, it is extremely expensive. I been there before. I would recommend you to go to some flea market places if you can speak cantonese.

Going to Tokyo Disneyland requires me to have a Japanese Visa and my Japanese Visa was expired last January. I will consider the flea market ;)

I still consider Disney Hong Kong is a must if you have never been to Disney from other country. You can go shopping, haha, Hong Kong is all about shopping.
Places to visit, The peak, Madame Trussauds wax museum, Temple Street Night flea market, and many more...

does the night flea market offers cheap merchandise? :D I'd been to Tokyo Disneyland and Osaka Universal Studios before but my GF wasn't been at any disneyland and I want to treat her. :)
