The other day a 13 year old was jogging and collasped right in front of a moving car. At first everyone thought that that car had hit him. That wasn't the case. The kid had a heart attack while jogging. The kid was born with his heart on the wrong side of his chest whiched caused alot of health problems. He has had muliple surgeries. Couple of weeks before he jogged he had just gotten out of surgury. He should not have been running or jogging. The crazy thing was he was in track. That is what he was practicing for when he fell over with a heart attack. I think they should not have even let him be in track knowing his heart condition. To me that's just plain stupid. He ended dying as a end result and pushing his body to the limit.

That is so sad. I think they should have had him in some kind of rehabilitation center or something instead. He may have gotten his heart healthier that way. I do not think he should have been in track either or anything where he could over exert himself.

If this was the case, I feel that the child should not even have been jogging. I had a friend who also had her heart on the wrong side, and she never was allowed to jog or do anything vigorious. She is still alive today. Sure life is a little different but the point is she lived. In this other case you write about, the child was allowed to jog, and do vigorious excercises that caused the heart to stop. Also why soon after surgery? That really does not seem right to me. There is something very wrong with that picture.
