so here's the situation.. your lover has a favourite band s a fan and its so much different with ur music in genre.. so what are you trying to do?
pretend that you like that music or band? or just tell the true about ur dislike? or
learn to find how to enjoy that music or join with her as a fan?

No, for me I'll say what music genre I want to. But you should say it in a way that she/he will not get offended. I honestly saying I hate those rock songs with a very noise sounds, LOL.. But we all are different, so other people are enjoying listening to it, others are not.
But still I believe that you both still have the same song you want to hear, probably it's gonna be your theme song LOL..
