Children getting hit

Oh, that poor little boy, I can only imagine the number of times he gets whacked, people should know that little kids do not yet know right from wrong and should be told what to do and what to not after they know and disobey they should be given a time-out, grounded or maybe take a way their favorite toy but I cannot bare the thought of hitting a lil one. That poor child. Though I would have done the same as you, that was not my child, the women is not some one i know, and I just like you are in no position to butt in. but the poor thing

Well there is doing you could have really did. She should not have smacked her child the way that she did.In that situation all you could do is bite your tongue and walk away in disguise.
