Does your husband or significant other go with you?

There have been many times, I go shopping and my husband doesn't want to go with me. He says I take too long and don't like walking around a store for hours. Hey, if i am going to take the time to go shopping, I am going down every aisle and enjoying my time with my child. If my child or husband go, I have to get my stuff and go and not be able to enjoy my day. I have heard some that go with and actually help pick out their outfits and comments. That would be fun..... Does your spouse/significant other go with you shopping?

It really depends on what stores I'm going to. A lot of times he and I will go shopping on our day off together. We usually do some stores he likes and stores I like and ones we mutually like. I love going to my craft stores and my boyfriend doesn't complain, he just won't follow me throughout the whole store lol. But I do like getting his opinion on different things as well.

I have been married for 39 years and yes my husband and I often go together shopping and help one another. He likes to be with me and visa versa and we plan our trips and day to town so we can do certain things together. It works pretty well most the time as long as we plan where we plan to go and what we will be doing and for how long.

when i go, i like to plan what stores i want to go to and check out the deals and what not then where to eat. then if we have time i like to look around antique markets or resale shops and see what they have. not always do i have purchase something, but just to do something and get out of the house.

No way! To be shopping and have him complaining the whole time? So not worth it! I enjoy my shopping much more on my own. The only time he comes along is when we're furniture shopping, or electronics shopping. That stuff is of more interest to him than clothes or grocery shopping, which is totally not his cup of tea!

My husband and I usually like to go shopping together. Sometimes in the store we split up and I go to the section that I like and he goes to the one he likes. I do find shopping is faster when I'm on my own, so for some things I go by myself. When my husband and daughter go grocery shopping with me, items mysteriously (lol) appear in our shopping cart. It can get expensive when they come. LOL!

Good Lord. I always thought that i am not a good son, or a lover or things like that cause i really don't enjoy shopping much with females..(no offence intended). The problem, it's something most guys don't enjoy. Moreover, who likes being dragged along for a God knows how long we have been shopping, makes us more irritated and increase our resolve to renounce shopping in life. :) We know how much you like shopping and tries but mostly it is a failure cos we can't hang on till the end. So, try not to forget the theory of relativity, heaven for the shoppers and hell for the ones tagging alone. If you can master the technique of shopping till your hearts contend and not irk the person tagging alone, you'll be happy for the rest of your days. Sadly, i can't tell you any tricks on how to master it. :) So, as i sign off, all i can say is "Good Luck" ladies!!

I only like shopping when i have extra money....hahaa I had a few boyfriends that actually liked to go shopping with me, they would go to the electronics and automotive while i done all the other things. one would actually like to go clothes shopping (he just had to look Good) haha Then we would go out and eat and have dinner together and sometimes make it an all day thing then go to the movies, bowling or whatnot. So yes, I know some that like to and others that rather stay at home and work on the cars or whatnot. Thanks for giving us the "man" side of things.

My partner always goes with me when I shop. They're with me when I grocery shop and sometimes I'm forced to actually buy clothing whenever it comes down to it. If I need some clothes and I don't buy any, usually they make me go and buy clothes because I'm always putting it off.

I like to put off clothes also, I am overweight so it makes me more disgusted to buy clothes. Right now I have to get scrubs for school and those aren't soo bad, but I still like to be back to what I was---atleast my size 5-7!! :)) lol My ex used to go with me and he was fun to shop with, think he was worse than a girl haha

My ex and I both hated shopping so he rarely went with me. When he did, my food budget was totally blown! I did his clothes shopping for him and he never came along when the kids and I had to go for school clothes. He really, really hated shopping, not that I blame him!

hi charblaize my hubby and I settled that problem by splitting up,he went to window shop at his favorite shops while I took my time and tried on dresses,he had our son with him and they had a ball, then we would agree to meet at our favorite restaurant at a certain time. so my hubby would be at the cafe with my little son and we had fun deciding what we wanted to eat. no fusses, no spats, just a lot of fun.

That is the easiest way to settle huh, my brother in law may come with us (me and my son) then they take off together then we will meet when we are ready to leave and most of the time it will work out until my son decides to leave his side and walk the store shew......

Mine follows me, and the only reason is because i make him feel involve in every single process from buying chips to picking an out fit to just plain browsing, I make him feel apart of every single process. I even let him come inside the changing room with me, which I think is the reason why he wouldn't mind shopping with me, and When we go shopping we don't just shop for me we shop for us, or me or him. Never always forcus on one person alone, so none of us feel neglected or bored. Maybe you should try it some time.

Go shopping with me? I think he would but he doesn't particularly like it and will give me hard time when I shop, I would prefer to shop with myself in this case but I like to have compnay like my sister when I go shopping. I don't mind going shopping with him though because I like to spend time with him.

i always like to take someone with me, I don't like to go by myself either. It just seems more fun when you have someone to talk to, go out and eat, and just take each other's advice.

Hi, charblaize! When I go for groceries shopping, my husband rarely accompany me, as well as going to shopping malls. Just like yours, he said that it took to long just to do groceries shopping. I told him that the reason that I need to be careful, detail, and picky when choosing this and that, especially when discount time comes, lol..but still, he doesn't like to accompany me. As for window shopping, he said that he never understand why women can stand it, going to a shopping mall, looking around but not buying anyhing, lol. Well, I guess men will never understand. But thanks to my son, as now he's almost 2,5 years old, he loves going with me for groceries shopping, and yes, it's really nice to go through the aisles with him. He asks many questions, and I am glad that I can answer them for his knowledge.

thats cute and hope he keeps it up when he gets older. I like to window shop but at times, it gets alittle depressing. When I do have extra money.....i like to shop and yet be careful and pick bargains, coupons, discounts etc.

I usually go grocery shopping with my husband because he pays for everything. But to shop for clothes and shoes for me and my children, I'll take the spending money from him and go with my children only because he doesn't like the hassle of bargaining and the time taken for me and my children to choose the clothes that we like.

Yes, it does much longer for children to pick out their clothes and shoes. Here lately since my son turn 6, he still looks at littler clothes and trying to tell him he is older is hard. though i can usually bribe or show him something "older" he may like. trying to find shoes is also rough, measuring his feet he don't like to stand there and he will keep picking out cleats if were looking for tennis shoes lol. I love bargains!!! and coupons!!!

My hubby goes with me sometimes, but I always, always have to take my two year old. How nice it sounds to walk down every aisle and look at things... I remember when shopping was enjoyable. Perhaps some day it will be enjoyable again. IN the meantime, I'll live vicariously through you... So what are you shopping for?

I used to have to take my son when he was younger and it was rough, but then he would sit in a cart and "listen" but now he is older and wants to run run all over the place and think he is a big kid and do whatever. So I emphasis with you. I don't go shopping everyday, by no means. Maybe once or twice a month, once for the groceries and the next for the necessities like cleaning supplies, shampoo and conditioner stuff like that, we don't have much to go and get whatever we like (though that would be nice) My christmas and most birthday shoppings are when my son is in school and I have a free day.

Honestly it really all depends. I would say 95% of the time my husband does come with me. I like having his opinion. There are just some times though that I'd just prefer to go shopping by myself. It can be more satisfying and faster that way. When you go shopping with multiple people it can often take all day!

yes, i can even walk down all the aisles and get done quicker without them. Most of the time I still have to take my son, unless its during the week and he is in school, that is also when I like to do the christmas/birthday shopping.
