Do you work full time? Part time? Stay at home mom/dad? If you work, what kind of job do you have, or are you an employer yourself? Do you like your job and coworkers, or are you in desperate need of a job change? lol... Details!!!

My full time job is a SAHM for my 3 kids. I work part time now for abt a year doing retail, I don't work many hours I average 10hrs a week. But it helps with groceries and gives me a break from the house.

If I could afford it I would definitely love to stay at home with my kids, it hurts so much that I know I am missing out on some parts of their lives, just because I have to work full time. You are very lucky and fortunate! Also, I think if I were a stay at home mom, I might want to consider a part time on certain days, like you said, just to help with bills and to be able to get away once in a while.

I'm currently working full time. I just started working full time about three weeks ago so it's definitely been a new experience for me. I actually hadn't had a really job so when I started my part time job over the summer that was new to me but it didn't really feel like a job as I wasn't working that many hours a week. However, I wasn't getting by on the money that I was making from that and I found a way better job offer so I took that so now I'm working 40 hours a week.
I'm a preschool teacher in a brand new center that was just built. My pay isn't so bad but I definitely could use more but who couldn't. However, we haven't reached full enrollment yet so it's been kind of slow and kind of boring but I cannot complain for the amount of money that I'm getting paid. I can't really complain about my paycheck either even though I know that more money would definitely make my life easier. However, I guess if I were actually getting paid enough I wouldn't be here now would I?
I really can't change jobs because there isn't any place that would hire me for more than I'm making now that would even consider paying me more in the long run. I've got the chance for pay raises now so that's helpful and I'm getting nice benefits. That's also helpful.

Yeah working full time is definitely a huge adjustment from going from either having no job or a part time job. You are a preschool teacher??!! I am so super jealous lol. It sucks that the pay isnt the greatest, but these days, any job is good lol, the economy sucks majorly. I would love working with kids aww! If the benefits are good and u can get pay raises, all the power to you! Awesome!

I hope that you have great luck on your interview!!!! I also enjoy working, I have worked for so long, its almost like a hobby lol, just knowing that you are making money to support either you or your family. o0o0o customer service will be cool, good luck!!!

I am a full-time temp. It really depends on what the assignment is. The assignments I have been dealing with are usually office work like data entry, filing etc. When the assignment ends and there is no other work available at the time then I help out people I know from church. From May until now I helped a friend with odds and ends stuff and made a little extra money from that. The temp agency that I keep in contact with finally got me a new gig and I start that Monday. Not sure how long it will be in this assignment but it helps pays the bills and keep food on the table so my husband and I can eat lol. The skills I get from each assignment, I hope will help me get back to stable employment.

Man, I respect anyone these days that works as a temp! I consider myself very lucky and fortunate to have a full time job, considering almost 75% of the people that I know lost their jobs, work very few hours every week, or are just on unemployment until it runs out, which just plain sucks. The company I work for hires temps at certain times of the year and I feel so bad for them because just this last year, they changed how the temps work and instead of working next to us and changing their position every 1/2 an hour, they have to do the same thing all day every day, and making half of the amount of money we do, which just sucks! So yeah I totally respect you for doing what you have to do for you and your husband, but hey at least you get office work as a temp! Id love office work! lol
