I have been using Windows for more than 9 years. I think Windows XP is the best Microsoft OS I have ever used. As it is more stable and won't hang easily. I have not tried any other operating system before. I know majority of Asian are using Windows OS. I heard many prefer Apple to Windows in Europe. So can you share with me which OS are you using and also their advantages and disadvantages? :)

If you are talking about a stable OS from Windiws then Windows 98 was the best of them all. I am currently using Windows 7. I always do beta testing so I am trying out their new operating system.

Well 98 used to hang but it was the most stable system of all. It did not have any security issues as XP had. There were a lot of bugs in XP. So I prefered 98. Windows 7 is very good. It does not need drivers, the interface is good and uses less resources than Vista.

i use two os so windows x and linux ubuntu!!I can say that i am satisfied from both and so naturally it depends what you want from your os in the majority of cases!!I think for something windows is good and for some others linux will be much better than windows and macos too!! In reality i don't like macos, also because i did not find so much differenc between windows apart some little things and you must think that macos as in apple style have a limited licence for their users such as if you want somehing more as little software or service you must pay for it and in many cases it would be expensive from this point of view surely linux will be a big deal and also security i think linux is better thna others..surely on this you should work a bit and personlize your os to your needs on the contrary windows normally you will find it pre-installed on your pc and so you don't install by yourself..and so on..but thi is not so difficult i guess if you will choose an open source os!

my friend i am using windows xp just after it was released. at first it was a bit heavy on my system. but then i upgraded my computer and after that my system never had a problem with windows xp. i also made an acronis true image back up and a bootable disk so that when ever my computer had a problem and it will not start, i can always revert back to my original state wth all my softwares installed. i think it is a very good option with acronis true image. any ways after that i used vista and it was very bad experience. and now i am using windows 7 and let me tell you one thing, its dam good. the operating system is very stable and also very fast on response. i have a descent configuration and still i am running the os on high visual mode and it just works fine.

I use Windows XP Professional and I am not going to change another operating system like Vista. As I think Windows XP Professional is already good enough. It fits my computer. I am not sure whether Vista will slow down my computer or not. Besides, some software and hardware may not support Vista yet. I love China

Hello, For me I prefer Microsoft Windows 7, since it basically incorporates the look of Windows Vista and the speed and performance of XP. I can't wait until it finally comes out! Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I've been using Windows XP all my life and rarely have problems with it. Windows Vista is interesting to try because I have tried it at my friends house from time to time, but for me, I always go with the XP.

I've been using Windows OS for how many years. I've tried 98, 98SE, Me, XP, 2000, Vista and 7. XP has proven itself worthy for the past couple of years. I wouldn't say the same for Vista though. It's a bit of a resource hog. Why? If you're an XP user, you'll definitely feel the difference. Even if your computer meets the system requirement to run Vista, you'll still as though it's not enough. The only good feature that I like with Vista is the option to 'Restore To Previous..' on a certain file or folder. GU is ok as well. Now if i were to be asked which i will choose: XP, Vista, or 7. I'd say Windows 7. Windows 7 is the enhanced version of XP. This is what Vista should have been. Nice GUI, is not a resource hog, compatible with most software/hardware. Even if there are incompatiblity with some software/driver, give it a few months and ther companies will be making software/drivers which will be Windows 7 compatible.

I'm currently using Windows XP home edition. I've been using Windows my whole life, I'm familiar with it and I have no problems with it. However, recently I've been thinking about switching over to a Mac. My primary reason being that it seems to be the preferred choice of graphic and web designers. The only drawback for switching for me is the price, Mac computers cost a lot more than Windows.

yes~ Apple products are considered premium products and their price is usually higher than other OS.
