Seth Rogen. I don't like Will Ferrel anymore. I liked him in some of his old stuff like Night at The Roxburry and in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but now his comedy is so stupid. I blame Napoleon Dynamite. Ever since that movie there has been more and more movies trying to mimic it. I absolutely HATED Stepbrothers. I am a huge fan of Seth Rogen. I like so much of his movies and I think he is pretty cute both his looks and his personality. I just don't understand why people like Will Ferrel so much now. I don't think that stupidity is that funny, mostly just annoying.

Seth Rogen wins easily. Not only is he extremely funny, he can play a variety of characters and is also a very talented writer. On the other hand you have Ferrel who in my opinion is a one trick pony. Pretty much every movie he is in he does the same sort of thing and so becomes pretty boring after a while.

I think Will Ferrell is on declining stage right now, being his movies is not as huge as in the past. Seth Rogen is the new IT boy in the comedy, his movies generally are well accepted in the market. Both has its own strength, Will Ferrell for his outrageous and over the top act (which sometimes goes to slapstick comedy), Rogen for his down to earth and a very approachable personality, especially to teenagers.

Yeah, his fame starts with Knocked Up, which is perfect for teenagers who maybe experienced a lot of knockups in their life lol. But I think Rogen starts to shift his movies not only just comedy movie. I read somewhere that he got a role for Green Lantern or something? It's a comic based movie and that's why he losing few pounds from his body. Guess nobody wants to trapped in comedy movie. I just hope he succeed in being a versatile actor that can play any kind of movie. Only few actor who can switch from comedy to drama movie, Tom Hanks and Billy Crystal for example and Jim Carrey in some movies (Eternal Sunshine, Truman Show but a big no no in Number 23)

Haha. I like your answer. But i do have to say Seth Rogen can be funnier because he is a bit more serious and straight up about his comedy. And Will Ferrell can try too hard sometimes and is sometimes imature. But he can be funny like in elf or kicking and screaming.
