How many books you read in one day?

HOW do you read 5-6 books in a day!!?!???! *not saying this to be mean or rude or smart@ss or anything but are you a stay at home spouse? Don't have to work or anything? I'm really just curious. I can't finish a book in just one day (yet)...the fastest I have finished a book is 2 days, that's my record. I read everyday, but I defeniatly couldn't read/finish multiple books in one day.

I love to read and as a teen would read up to 6 books a day, both fiction and non fiction. Now though reading is a luxury, very little time and can't get the books I want. I live in Japan and my Japanese is not good enough to use the library. My oldest son is now the reader in my house. He has just come back from the library with 3 more books, he went the day before yesterday and came back with 7 books, so in two days he read 7 books plus he is studying for tests this weekend.

I try to read some book or other everyday. When I pick up a new book I try to finish it in one day. Usually I can finish most books in one day. Sometimes when I do not have any new book I go back to my old ones and read a few pages. I try to read at least a couple of pages at night before going to sleep.

that is some fast reading you do. a book lasts more than a week for me on the average. i wonder how one could appreciate a book read in a day. isn't that like fast-forwarding a movie?

Being a homemaker and having lot of other works too, I find very less time to devote to reading, so I hardly finish a book in one day.

it depends on how many pages per book, sometimes i have to finish in a day a 2 inch novel, i cant wait for tomorrow to continue the story hehehe... but sometimes i fell sleepy... so i have to read tomorrow... if less pages, i can finish it in an hour or two... i love reading books..
