Stuck between a Desert and a Hard place

I just moved to Barstow Ca from Los Angeles and me and my girl have been looking for work like crazy, and I we are starting to run dry. My father offered {OFFERED!! I say that cause we don't really get along well, and now I OWE HIM} to help, NOT good but I needed it; I hate been in this predicament, if I had a job ANY JOB I would be sooo happy, knowing that I can take care of my household, and we just moved here, not even 2 months ago, and already it's looking grimm. So I've turned to Mylot to see if anyone knows anything as far as WORK in BARSTOW. Anything found would be great, we are getting pretty desperate. thank you
