I'm not much of a bookworm but i do read most of the times when I was still young. The best novel i have read is titled "Noli Me Tangere" written by one of our National Heroes. The book was about the struggle of a country under the Spanish rule. Giving us the character of nationalist and love to our country. What about you, what novel you think was the best you've ever read?

a hundred years of solitude by gabriel garcia marquez, jude the obscure by thomas hardy, gravity's rainbow by thomas pynchon and noli me tangere by jose rizal are but four of the unforgettable though not really best novels.

They sure are interesting novels to read. Even if you consider these novels you mentioned as no really best novels, I agree with you by describing them as unforgettable.

I never used to read novels but once my friend gave me a novel and said to read it. It was so fat that i said that its impossible to read the book for me and said her that i dont like reading novels and dont want to read it . But she forced me saying its a great one so i never wanted to break her heart and took the book. she called me at home and asked ..where have i read till now? I said i've just started. so unwantedly i started and it was a flow that from then i never stopped, i stopped only when the story got over. She was right..it was a great story...full of action, romance and tears. The novel was "the three mistakes of my life".
