Hoe often you delete the mails???

I have this strange thinking that my mailbox should have no unread msgs...and i try to empty my unread mails as soon as possible...but at times it happens that i don't have net connection for 2-3 days as my service provider like to go on holiday very often ...and the i have 100--150--200 unread mails..my god its so much a burden on me...i have kept notify 'on' for all my mylot friends and i also try my best to respond all of them, but when such problems occur it takes me 2-3 weeks to do justice to all my mylot friends...but it was 3rd week in a line..and i have not seen my mail box having no unread mails...so at last to keep myself off that burden i deleted all those weeks old discussions..though i have answered dozens today..my mylot friends will forgive me i know ...... and yes...one more thing i felt lacking about g mail today is that there was 1 mail showing in bracket of inbox...but i couldn't find that 1 unread mail...so i found this thing today that there shuold be option in gmail to find unerad mail...if it is hidden many days back somewhere....maybe there is no mail and the number is just by error....but i have turned so many pages to find that one...again that strange habit to keep me mail box empty (with no unread mail).... Do u have such psycho habits ..and do u delete mails very often....and have u found anything lacking in gmail .....he he he...so many questions associated with one discussion....anywayz answer anyone u wish!!!

I have over 8,000 unread emails so that tells you that I do not delete nearly as often as I need to. Maybe that is why I feel so overwhelmed when I open my email!

Hi friend, Even I would like any unread message in my mail box. And I try to clear them as soon as possible by reading them not by deleting them. :).LOL. But I have a friend who would not like to have a look on his olt of mails. Last time I saw his mailbox, there are more than 1000 unread mails. Now he even have no time to delete them too. What to do? Enjoy mylotting.

Hi eshaan, there are so many emails popping up in my mailbox when I check it once I surf on the internet daily. I don’t have considerable time to read all the emails one by one when online. I just leave them there until I have time to cope with. If I’m really busy for days, the emails surely would pile up after some time. It’s normal that many would be left out for sure. It happened to me that my friends did blame me for not replying their emails I dislike seeing the mailbox accumulated with a long list of unread mails. I usually would delete the spam mails straight away, followed by the mylot email notifications with topics which I’m not interested. I always keep those with valuable information ones for further reference Take care and happy posting!

I delete emails very often. It depends from person to person. If the email looks good or is important i keep those, but in internet lots of mail are very irretating.I don't want them to keep in my inbox, so i delete mails very often.but lots of people who has no internet at home and go to cybercafe for net surfing ,to them these emails are not been deleted as they surf the net very often.

I use gmail and never delete anything in my email. I will every so often mark them as spam so future emails from that sender will go straight to spam, but that's about it.

I open my mailbox everyday and after read it and replied if I need to, I will erase it. But most of the emails that get into my mailbox are junk. I erase them even without seeing it again. They come from some sites that I don't even remember when I joined it. I have the same experience like you too. I went for a holidays for few days, 3 or 4 days if I'm not wrong. When I went home and checked my mailbox, I have more than 150 mails. I just read the important one.

Hi Eshaan, you are right if you don't check your mails for even couple of days you will have lots of mails to check and respond. I do regularly check my mails and immediately delete the unwanted ones, so it helps me to keep track of all my emails and the other thing is to move related mails to different folders. This will help you to keep track of them easily. For example create folder name mylot and move all the mails to this folder and then take your time to check them and work accordingly. This will help you in maintaining your mails. For keeping notify on, I usually do it for only those friends who I feel are posting good discussions and respond them. Notify is not on for all, as many members have sent friend request just for sending referral links and most of the time they rarely respond to discussions. Well this is my thinking.

I regularly check my mails. I get a few mails everyday and I prefer not to accumulate them and read them togather. So I regularly delete the mails after I read them. However I have another ID in which I get all Junk mails and it is filled with thousands of Spam messages. So I dont even bother to check that mail and delete a few. Whenever I get time I just select them all at a time and press Delete without even having a look at it.

Deleting a mail is a very boring job to do. Well i like my inbox to be clean but it rarely happens. I use to delete mails when i find that there is too much of junk and it needs to be deleted. If i think of a rough calculation then I generally delete my mails fortnightly. Its just an approximation.

This was once my big problem too, and for that i quited my account and created a new one. checking and reading those e-mails where very head ache and tiring. and most importantly it was of no use too so i created a new one and now i never use my new account any where , i dont want my new mail to be a dustbin again.

I don’t like a full in-box so I check my emails every day, delete and filter spam and read everything and only delete what is not of interest. It can get overwhelming if emails are left too long and chances are something would be missed. I have two email accounts, my private one for friends and family and my second account for MyLot and everything else and it all gets cleared regularly!

there is no need to delete spam mails as they get automatically deleted if they lie there for more than 30 days...

he he he..yoyo...u r too lazy...if u r so lazy then u should keep notify 'off' for ur mylot friends.......as so much lazy person can't guarantee that he can reply to all his friends...i do it only when i dont have net for few days...and after that also i am too tolerant ...i take time of about 2-3 weeks and try to empty them as on weekends only i can do mylot (other days are dedicated to forex)....but today it was besides my power to clear them all...so did it
